  1. Long diagonal ball tactic comes to the rescue.
  2. Hmmm was already on his way down like. If wasn't already falling and went down normally then stonewaller. On his way down yes, but it's a foul anywhere else on the pitch. It's a penalty for me. Reckless challenge, don't think Zenden got the ball.
  3. Bentley did something! And, for the 11th time in a row, nothing comes of the corner.
  4. Pretty typical Sunderland performance so far. 'Soak up pressure' and try to nick a goal. Thing is they do this on a lot of home games too and usually get some luck to get something.
  5. It's 10-1 on corners at least, KD. You must be enthused by that...
  6. Easily the better side but not at your best. Just that final ball missing. Plus you've completely wasted a hatful of corners.
  7. Huddlestone smacks the post. Love watching his shooting. Unbelievable tekkers.
  8. They've had some poor decisions go against them this year, very unlucky. Mind regarding our game where they (probably wrongly) had a goal disallowed, he's keen not to mention the pretty clear penalty we should have had at the other end.
  9. I'd "go out and do this for the fans" tbh. Against Blackburn? Poor management. Chris is better than that. Err, yes. For the fans who hate Fat Sam. DON'T QUESTION MA AUTHORITEEEH!
  10. Let's see how many teams in the division will do this, I suspect not very many. It's the same over xmas and you don't see many teams rotating then as well. Apart from the vast majority if not all, no, not many. Let's see, but why the fuck change a winning team. It's pointless, and tbf if i was a player in that 11 and then got dropped tomorrow then I wouldn't be happy. Big, big difference. They wouldn't be being 'dropped' as that implies their level of performance wasn't good enough. It's nothing to do with "changing a winning team". I wouldn't expect any team to be able to give 100% in each of the 3 games in a 6 day period. If you think you're an exception to that then fair enough.

  12. If you're not prepared to rotate when you have 3 games in 6 days then I don't know when. If the players are seriously fit enough to perform at a high level against Blackburn and then against Fulham, fair enough. However I think the chances of this are near to zero.
  13. Fan. Though obviously the two words just get used in the same context in sport.
  14. Now I'm just confused. Anyway, it's now called the Tiote Position.
  15. Matthew Upson has 21 caps for England... And he played for Newcastle when? Woodgate? Wag Woodgate ever fit to play for England? Doubt she'd have been up to it if we're being honest.
  16. Didnt get a decision wrong iirc Says the winning team.....wonder what the Gooner fans think [/fishing] Tbh, did Dean really have much to do? Got the red card right and got most free kicks right. Quiet game is a good game for a ref, I suppose. Actually, I'm not so sure he got the red card right. Was perhaps a bit harsh. But it sure as hell didn't change the game. He did pretty well overall.
