  1. Chelsea aren't looking very smart tonight. Spartak are right in this.
  2. Marseille, Bayern and Auxerre all ahead.
  3. That's actually insane. How come the odds are so high? Arsenal outright are 7/4 on Skybet. 15/4 -1 at a guess?
  4. Not surprising at all like, considering they're going to fly through this group. They do seem to get consistently easy groups mind.
  5. His cross for Huddlestone's goal at Fulham was a clear assist that the moron FA somehow decided it wasn't. Thing with Bale this season is that he's actually involved in a lot of our goals but not got the final assist. Exactly. He's going round doing this and that but he's doing fuck all for my Fantasy Premier League team!
  6. In fairness, I can understand a lot of the reaction. He has completely and utterly embarrassed one of the best right backs in the world in consecutive games. Last night was one of the best wing performances I can remember in years. No, this doesn't mean he is a world class player at the moment but the standard of these particular displays, especially last night, were of a world class level IMO.

    Sunderland...

Their defending was worse than usual but otherwise it was a typical Sunderland performance from what I've seen. "Great, we've got the ball. Don't have the quality in midfield to build up a move, oh well, HOOF, Bent please do something... please?"
  8. I dunno, I've seen Ronaldo eliminated from games effectively on numerous occasions. The World Cup in particular, and in both El Clasicos last season. His freekicks are massively overrated aswell, for the amount he takes his conversion rate is pretty poor. About the free kicks, reminds me so much of Roberto Carlos. Spectacular when they go in but regularly don't trouble the keeper at all.
  9. Fixed. It's blatantly not like. A while ago I would have agreed, but Ronaldo's took it to another level really. When he's not pissing about and just goes for it without all the wankery he's just as devastating as Messi in his influence and pretty much the complete footballer. I was slightly joking with but personally I'd have Messi fairly comfortably ahead of Ronaldo. Not miles ahead or owt, as Ronaldo is very effective at what he does (and is a different type of player to Messi really) but I still think Messi is absolutely numero uno.

    Sunderland...

Don't forget their 2 goals against Birmingham being a glorious Stephen Carr own goal and a penalty that shouldn't have been one. Numerous penalty claims waved away vs Villa too, especially the Reo-Coker one iirc.
  11. I don't know if I've watched slightly less Spanish football this season or the fact I don't have SSN anymore, or whatever it is, but I haven't heard AS much about him. It's just accepted he's going to be utterly insane.
  12. Required Positions Left Wing Criteria Must be scary
  13. You thought he'd produce performances like that so soon?
  14. Yep. Absolutely and utterly electric performance.
  15. 3 minutes to go in normal time and Inter still have 2 holding midfielders in the centre circle. Oh, Rafa.
  16. Group over. Aye. Can't see Rangers winning either of their 2 remaining games.
  17. Valencia 2-0 Rangers, Soldado's 2nd kills the game off. Rinse and repeat in Turkey. 2-0 Man Utd, Obertan.
  18. Pfft, Phil Neville shackled Bale. Neville > Maicon. Benfica 3-0 Lyon.
