  1. "And yes, as soon as the game is finished, the Sunderland fans will wait in the stadium until the Newcastle fans, then the Mackems will get the bus back to Sunderland." Yes, and they'll be home for a nice cup of hot cocoa and bed. Who are Look North kidding?
  2. On another note, I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and stick some on 1-1 for the derby. Thought it'll be that all week and unless one side gets 6 injuries suddenly, I can't see me changing my mind.
  3. On the whole, Williamson's looks like he's made the step up to Premier League standard, however he's looked less confident in recent games (Wigan springs to mind).
  4. In fact, alot of the time it can be that 'oh i'll add them as well to boost the odds, they'll win' team that is the only one that doesn't come off. You're basically just hoping that everything goes to form. Yep, that's pretty much what happens. I just don't really have the money/balls to be going betting £50, £100 or so on stuff. If I did, I would have for example stuck a load on Arsenal last night because I had that unequivocal feeling of "they will definitely, definitely win." But meh, that's betting for you!
  5. Thing is though, betting is ultimately about profit. Bigger stakes, less odds, and you'll win more often. Much more often. It sounds so obvious yet many people, including myself, and seemingly you too, just ignore this, and just go for audacious 6 folds and shit. Greed's a bad thing.
  6. Oh, wormy. You sound just like me. Take that as a warning.
  7. That would surely be worth the 2 yellow cards for 1) time wasting and 2) taking his shirt off (or would he keep his shirt on?) Either way. It'd be worth seeing.
  8. The thought of Sunderland turning over anyone is strange. How many matches have they actually been superior to their opposition in this season? 1? 3 penalties, 2 own goals, I know it's early in the season but them being 7th is pretty tragic.
  9. Yep - get The Times most Mondays, mainly for that.
  10. Real Sociedad Mark Williams DNB Sao Paulo Not at all random. Edit: glad I didn't put much on now, Williams is getting bent over.
  11. did you see there games v arsenal and citeh ? very much second best. they are only slightly better than the safc team that wentdpown with craog russell when all season they said "we have conceded so few goals"......they done it by defending by the 10 even when they were attacking..........then too late they realised they had to score to stop up. 2nd best vs Villa too. Add in debatable penalties and own goals and you have Sunderland this season. They'll thankfully be nowhere near their current position come the end of the season.

Tbh, if the simultaneous celebration was actually good, say, a mass robot, it'd be amusing.

That hate is particularly refreshing. FUCK OFF WITH YOUR DANCING!
  14. I'm sure I saw Kevin Nolan get booked as well. He's so lazy ffs.
  15. Smith didn't get booked then. Ref booked another player (possibly Kadar) for booting the ball away. Really? Well, that's the mystery solved. How didn't he get booked though?
  16. Smith hacked down Walcott, that was the 1st yellow. Never saw this 2nd one!
  17. Looking back off the top of my head: The Young penalty at SJP was soft albeit daft from Harper, definelty on contact though. Luckily Villa were that bad it didn't cost us. Henry should of been off at Wolves. Although Wolves should of had a penalty as some have pointed out. Nolan taken out at Everton. Coleman and Fellani lucky to finish the match as well. The Alex penalty at Chelsea. The absolute disgrace that was the City match. The second goal today. Luckily a few of them haven't cost us. Apparently they "even themselves out over a season". So after Christmas we should be in line for a shitload of points we don't deserve. They really don't. One of the many wrong cliches in football. They don't for us anyway. They generally don't. Unless you're one of those wonderful top four teams. Still doesn't even out. It just goes wildly in the other direction.

  20. Just because, yes, I am that guy - Perch's handball in the 1st half was as clear as day tbh. That said, I have to agree you've had a rough deal with decisions so far this season. As was the handball from the Arsenal defender. 1-1 tbh. I'm just pointing out a decision that went your way amongst the many that haven't.

  22. I'd love to get to more Everton games, simply can't afford it though. One thing I would say is though, away games are fucking class.
  23. Ranger was one of your best players. He wasn't like. Can't fault his effort but there was no quality there. Except he was. Not outstanding but caused problems for the Arsenal defence. How can you single Ranger out for (unjustified) criticism ahead of Lovenkrands, Routledge and Taylor, to name 3?
