  1. Leicester iirc were unbeaten at home for more than a year, so it was a surprise tbh. That's true but Preston are a very good side themselves, he made it sound like Plymouth had gone there and outplayed them.
  2. Gotta say, Jeff Stelling made a couple of somewhat patronising remarks yesterday; firstly calling it a 'massive shock' for Preston to go to Leicester and win, and then he was reading out some goals from the lower divisions (all of which were equalisers or teams taking the lead I believe), and then shouting; "BUT ALL OF THAT IS INSIGNIFICANT COMPARED TO WHAT'S HAPPENED AT THE BRITANNIA STADIUM!" And all it was was a 2nd Man Utd goal. Aye Jeff, don't let Sky Sports' bias be too obvious, ey?
  3. Did we play well? No. Did we win? Yes. You're a strange'un. Tbf you lot were shite today. Hetinga looked pretty clumsy and Pompey deserved to win imo. Saha is a superb striker when fit though. No doubting Pompey deserved at least a point, but it's hardly bad luck; their finishing was atrocious. We were often the architects of our downfall because in the second half we didn't make them work to build attacks, we gifted them possession far too easily so many times. Heitinga did look clumsy aye but I'll give him a fair few more games before making a clearer judgement. Saha is awesome when fit as you say. Good to have 3 good strikers to choose from.
  4. Did we play well? No. Did we win? Yes. You're a strange'un.
  5. Your irrational hatred of Everton is so cute.
  6. Based on the fact that this is a scrappy game (which is hardly surprising considering Pompey are desperate for a win and lacking confidence), the standard of play outside the top 4 is crap?
  7. Nope, they haven't been bad at all. The game was summed up my 2 one on ones. Dindane missed his, Saha scored his. Simple as that really. Edit: That said, we have looked a lot more comfortable on the ball. Pompey, unsurprisingly, look very nervy at times.
  8. I quite like Subways. I don't however fancy paying the ridiculous price for a foot-long. Sub of the Day is alright like.
  9. If we do win, I think it'll be very close. Can see it being a bit of a scrap really. Hope it's better than that though, at least we've hit some good form.

  11. This venomous campaign is just the latest in a series of vicious attacks from the rags. But I suppose everyone will end up TURNING on ME. how cant anyone see they're all out to GET US!
  12. 10 down the drain then, as he's screenshot and pasted results before. probably borrowed from some friend or something, he needs screen shots with pictures of himself That £10 is better spent on Everton going down tbh.
  13. You sure on that? I get something different. Yeh mate I'm sure, Ive just put 19 quid on and its returning £58. It has went down slightly from yesterday but its still on. Neil - Its not just skybet offering the odds like this most of them are quite similar. When you look at it its only odds of 3/1 (ish) so its not amazing odds but its a very good bet and price. It's not 3/1. You stick £20 on, win £40 (ish) + plus your original £20 bet - that's 2/1. Either way; if you're willing to put a decent amount of money on that; £20 for example, you're very likely in for a tidy return. If we beat Pompey, I'd say it's almost a certainty 3 out of the other 4 will come off.
  14. That's a fucking amazing bet man. Is there usually that sort of value on SkyBet?
  15. Bilyatedinov (.....that'll do) has been hugely impressive so far. Very encouraging. Him, Pienaar and Mikel? :fwap:
  16. Wouldnt even worry about positions yet mate, just was easier to know how many people I had when assigning them to positions. We'll sort the team out as a team. Victory is ours!
  17. To be honest, I'd rather return to my DM role of the first 2 games. But, if no-one is willing to play RB, I'll fill in.
  18. Everton at evens is pretty good, but last year we went there, and I expected a win. We got beat 2-1. Edit: that said, we are fucking banging in the goals atm.
  19. Lol@jooPhilBrown. 11 goals in 4 games. Chuckle.
  20. I won a 65/1 one the other weekend I stuck a quid on, but since then I've played 3 very 'likely' trebles and none have come off. Such is the nature of the bastard that is betting.
  21. My main problem is I don't have the balls to stick £20 on a 3/1 or 4/1 accumulator or whatever. Coz I know I'd feel like a right twat if I lost.
