Lita would have done a canny job for yous I'd have wagered. Good pic btw.

As I think Mowen hinted at earlier in the thread, are we looking to pick just generally the best players, or the best XI? Because as already said, theoretically there can be only one "world class" player for each position.
-
Late to the thread and can't think of anything that hasn't already been said. Legend. R.I.P.

Doesn't the importance of Bendtner in that system worry you a little? No, i have alot of confidence in him when he's stuck in the box. What with his clinical finishing and all. That said 38 games up top in that Arsenal side, I'd like to think most strikers can get at least 15 goals, pushing 20.
-
Arsenal I'd say are more likely to drop out the top 4 than finish in it, particularly if they don't buy a proven DM.

FOOLISH INFIDELS! "Now polish my shoes, peasant."

Dummy, out, spat. A possible bit of new competition for you Fergie. Boo-hoo. Whatever you think about Man City, you have to laugh at Ferguson letting it get right under his skin.

£7m.... meh, in today's market it's alright. Think he could flourish under Moyes and is exactly what we're looking for at RB. If he can stay fit...
-
Flip that around and you could also say (despite the relative lack of ability for the various managers), a succession of them have consciously decided to not play him. Surely suggests he isn't that good, doesn't try in training, or has actually just been injured, injuries I can't really remember atm.

Man City are.... losing.
-
Impressive marking for the goal there like.

2:52 [Comment From Wullie] I really don't like Duff. Edit:

Sunderland are generating some tidy sums for deadwood like.
-
Tbf Neil you should just graciously accept that the better team won in a similar manner to what we did when Man U beat us to the Premier League in 1996. Show some humility for the love of God.

I don't wish them well no, because I don't think they've made a footballing decision at all. Not that it'll take much bad luck for them to be warming the subs' bench/miss out on the first 18. What I'm saying is they've made the wrong decision to Spurs IMO, so we can discuss that if you want? If you've quite finished your historic celebrations that you've got them instead of us, that is.
-
See the document 'Recent League Tables'. Numerous Championship players succeeding at Everton. A STABLE club, past 3 seasons have been consistent success. But Spurs is in London, yes.
-
Aye, about something worthwhile. I fail to see how they could have gone there for footballing reasons, but they seem to play a minimal part in players' decision nowadays. I'll keep schtum before I say something out-of-line.

Most teams score 7 against Darlington in a pre-season friendly played on a Saturday. Just surprising they scored a couple in reply. Only if Sholagol plays for them. Stop trying to boast about your pathetic pre-season, we've ripped it up and yous know it. We're going to get so many points next year they'll carry some of them over. edit: and I notice you couldn't reply to the second part of my post Real Madrid have got like another 6 weeks before they start their league program, Newcastle start in less than 3 weeks, so I'm not surprised you're more advanced than Real tbh. I think he might have been joking, still doesn't take much to wind a Spuds fan up, as usual. I made him admit we're better than Real Madrid at this point in time...pretty pleased with the morning's work. I said Newcastle were more advanced, not better.................. Is this Age of Empires or something like?

It's more the way KD is depicting it as though they've won the Battle of Waterloo, and the fact he's openly admitted he's "gloating" nears the qualification of 'pathetic'.
-
Can't knock Spurs fans like: they're a form of mass entertainment one way or another.
-
KD, go to bed, and maybe tomorrow you'll have grown up.

CCTV did, but Mark Clattenburg didn't, so he'll get away with a caution. (Unless one of the bystanders had a word with him and thus he got sent to prison instead.)
