  1. Nope, I'm staying well away from accies for 2 or 3 weeks to let the season settle down slightly. That said, for individual matches, I'd imagine you'd get some pretty good value bets.
  2. Can I take it on a 3 Minute loan deal, I'm quite thirsty? No, stipulated in the contract is a clause saying it can't be loaned back to anyone else called Neil.
  3. On the plus side, I've signed this cup of coffee up on a 10 minute deal.
  4. Twice? Keane's certainly doing things thoroughly.
  5. Wages aside, there's not many Championship teams they wouldn't walk into and be their main player. I think some people are forgetting the level we've dropped to. That argument is irrelevant because we don't belong in the lower divisions. We've dropped to that level exactly because of them.
  6. IMO... Bassong is a decent enough defender, made a few mistakes but whether that was because of him or the shower of shite around him, I guess we'll not know. He's got above his station in some respects but I can't blame him one bit for wanting to get out. £8m even in today's market is a good selling price for someone like Bassong.
  7. Now I haven't really followed things in detail but whenever I see him, he comes across as a bit of a twat really. "LOL THEY WERE 13TH WHEN I LEFT!" "We were playing well." :kinnear: :kinnear:
  8. £20m in for Martins, Beye and Bassong. That's pretty damn good business if you ask me. For your lot, I mean.

    Barry Moat

He'll be building castles in the sky....
  10. On a lighter note, Dave Bassett sure can talk a lot.
  11. Craaaaaig David is speaking to DA HIERARCHY!
  12. Another striker to reject them. FM Legend. And Fifa. Anyone had him and Victor Obinna up front before? FML. Also, what's going on with SSN's music? Vague attempts at making it more apocalyptic than Requeim for a Dream?
  13. why not? Who would stop Barcelona They're a football club ffs, not the Spanish Royal Family. Mes que un club, man.
  14. why not? Who would stop Barcelona ETA. Later this month, apparently.
  15. Delph to Villa confirmed.
  16. Aye inevitable that Lescott wouldn't stay after money turned him. Get £20m+ for him and ffs invest that money further up on the pitch.
  17. Think he's Lescott replacement. He's not hopeless, just clumsy, you never know a year training in Milan alongside Maldini and Milan's super defensive coaching regime might have sorted out a few areas for him, with Moyes now doing the rest. Lescott & Jag weren't great defenders when they arrived at Everton, Moyes knows his stuff, he reckons he can get the best out of him and i think he possibly could as well. Tbh, once Jags is back, I wouldn't mind playing the 2 most in form from him, Senderos and Yobo. If I have faith in anyone improving Moyes, its him and his defensive team here, as seen with Lescott and Jagielka. Still need a right back though, and that's not even considering any offensive additions. Hold City to ransom over Lescott and then spend spend spend. Beye would be a good signing. Had Jag and Lezzy in my dream team last season, gutted Jag is out till november, he's only £5m and he got 140+ pts. If Senderos is £5m i might put him in, i've got Yobo in there ATM, really waiting to see what defensive changes Everton make. IS Baines over his injuries? It seems Baines is over his injuries: from December-ish onwards he was great last year and one of the first on the teamsheet. One of the key questions is where Neville will play - RB or in midfield. RB is more likely, purely because he's slightly better than the woeful Hibbert. I wouldn't mind Senderos if he's not too expensive, £5m would be acceptable. Very possibly therefore the back 4 vs Arsenal will be: Neville----Senderos----Yobo----Baines
  18. Should have a Guillem Balague face on hand for generic Spanish transfer bullshit.

  20. I'd like to think Senderos was cover for Jags being out until November / Lescott leaving, and not an automatic starter.
  21. Breaking news: Everton are still closing in on no-one.
  22. Will get my team sorted later; Invincible Idiots V aim to improve on the 4 previous mediocre attempts.
  23. I don't feel SBR would have wanted anything more than a completely sold-out SJP, getting 100% behind the team and generating an electric atmosphere. Such was his extraordinary selflessness.
