  1. He's a bit of a cult figure. I don't think he has any idea what he's doing 80% of the time.
  2. Credit to Spurs, turned up today and deserved the win. With that said they couldn't have really wished for better opposition for a morale-boosting win, the first 15 minutes aside. Pitiful stuff at times, and finally looked arsed when it was far too late. Should have had a penalty but I find it hard to complain much when we deserved nowt.
  3. It was a clear penalty, but we don't deserve anything from this. Taken until the 88th minute to look like we give a shit about equalising.
  4. They've been good, but most of that defending has been in the face of relatively little threat. Lukaku has been his standard donkey self.
  5. Lukaku cost £28m btw. Yes, he is playing.
  6. Distin looks so leggy, is he finished? And what is Eto meant to be doing? Going off.
  7. Distin looks so leggy, is he finished? And what is Eto meant to be doing? He's actually played that role quite well this season, dropping deep and using his experience. But quite simply younger legs are meaning the game is passing him by. Get Osman and McGeady on for Besic and Eto'o.
  8. It's probably better for me I post on here during our game, GrandOldTeam is a minefield. In the last 20 minutes Martinez has been labelled "clueless", which is interesting because at 0-1 he was a "god amongst men."
  9. Oh and where the hell has this Spurs been all season?
  10. How fucking easy can you make it for them man?
  11. Ah, after what appeared a couple of weeks solidity, our standard "don't close him down, what's the worst that could happen?" mentality has resurfaced.
  12. Random as fuck win on Toure to score outside the box at 10/1. That said Skybet can suck my dick, being trying to bet in play on Fiorentina to score more goals as Zeman's Cagliari are looking typically chaotic. 4-0 currently. Wouldn't let me bet.
  13. Besic hasn't really done much. Hasn't been great, liable to get sent off but is still etched into the hearts of many an Everton fan after his inspired first touch for us being a nonchalant no-look backheel to Didier Drogba for Chelsea's 6th.
  14. Issue is, the signs were there against Villa. Watched that game and they were very poor, didn't deserve more than a point against a terrible Villa side with zero confidence. So this probably isn't a massive surprise. Not saying they don't have the quality to trouble the "top" teams but it's a mentality issue. They were up against it today and had absolutely no answer, albeit I thought Man City were quietly impressive.
  15. Such a clichy but that's a sucker punch.
