  1. I'd like to see Wigan get relegated tbh, but I wouldn't like to see a Roberto Martinez side get relegated. I appreciate his beliefs in how the game should be played, but I'm not sure if there's room in the PL for someone like that to try and play like that as well as finding his feet on the managerial ground at this level.

    Obafemi Martins

I don't want Owen anywhere near my club. £7m for Martins, fandabbydosy.
  3. Ash, you want to get rid of Toure and bring in an experienced Premier League defender? Forgive me thinking that's a rather contradictory request.
  4. Yeah, if you believe the reports, we were close to losing him to Atletico last summer (or maybe the January before that) for £12m. Now I wouldn't want anything less than £20m for him, in today's market. A total disgrace that he doesn't get into the Spain squad.

    Obafemi Martins

If we are actually going after him, I'd be disappointed if we offered any more than £7m.
  6. 'Small' was a bad choice of language, what I meant was they don't have the immediate fame of Juve, Inter or Milan. Good on them, hope they do well. Where has Milito gone to? I haven't really kept up with Italian football past couple of months.
  7. Someone a bit more knowledgeable on Italian football: are Genoa quite heavily financed? They strike me as a relatively small club with big ambitions, they finished top 6 this year didnt they, nearly top 4?
  8. It's true but the £40m or so we'd get from them would be used very wisely IMO by Moyes. As I say, I don't think it'll happen anyway. And yeah, will be a very bizarre summer, and maybe a few rather surprising transfers.
  9. What team did he come from? Not sure I'm familiar with him. I know he plays in Mexico and I want to say with Santos Laguna an average Mexican side, he seems good but a poor finisher. Yeah he plays for Santos Laguna. From what I've seen of him for Ecuador he's strong, powerful, quick, has all the right attributes to play in the Premier League, but his finishing can let him down. 10 goals in 17 games for Ecuador is nowt to be scoffed at mind. Also he's mint on FM. I must confess FM is how I recognise the lad's name Him and Martins
  10. Brummie: I take your point re: Lescott and Arteta, but: a) I doubt they'd want to go b) We'd demand crazy money for them c) If they did go, I think we'll survive, as we've shown we can this year with key players injured. d) It'd give us a chance to buy a few quality players ourselves. I don't think it'll happen anyway.
  11. He can sense it, that's for sure. Good to see you posting again TT.
  12. Wouldnt suprise me at all. Law of average, Everton will look consistently s***, but pick up the results. Whilst especially the likes of man city will tonk sides when the expensive superstars decide to turn up and play then lose next week at home to stoke. Everton is a club rife for investment, they are one of the most stable clubs at the minute performance and set up wise. Giving Moyes some decent money could do wonders, alternatively there is no guarentee he would spend it on the right players. Overall he has been consistent on that front though imo. Its a tough decision because if they do break the mould and attract a big name it can really upset the apple cart. Yet medicore sides like Sunderland are given a billionaire, mid-table Man City given huge amounts of money, and relegation fodder like Pompey also given substantial investment iirc. Totally ludicrous. The only stumbling block for us is the whole stadium issue. Seems investors are more interested in buying smaller clubs and looking to build them up with investment on playing staff.
  13. Everton will finish higher than Aston Villa and Man City. Call it confidence/arrogance but I can't see it any other way at the moment.
  14. Do you honestly think Man City will finish in the top 4 next season?
  15. Disagree. City will have better players than Villa, and that's about it.
  16. Man City will not finish in the top 4 next year.
  17. I actually respected Barry for getting on with his job this season in spite of the rumours last summer. If he'd have gone to any of the top 4, fair enough. This is a total shambles. Twat.

If that really is true, then it's horrifyingly inept.

This 'Owner Ashley' fella might be American, I'm fairly confident Mike is English.

Speaking of which, last night i flicked onto "Katie Price: The Jordan Years" on ITV19+ and Chris Nathenial was her manager! Can see her up front instead of shola tbh Can't miss her really. With regards to footballers, she's got quite a good scoring record tbh. Another pun isn't coming to me atm, sorry.
