It was more a comment on the way Everton are playing than what teams have to play for.
-
I doubt Liverpool will be as passive though. To be fair, Chelsea do look a bit better with Lavia back in the side.
-
How very "on the beach" from Everton.

What we thinking tomorrow? Botman in for Schar, Gordon in for Barnes? -
DCL is a decent target man. Holds the ball up well and he's great in the air, but he's absolute bobbins in front of goal. Watched a game earlier this season where he fluffed a hattrick of one v ones. Could be a confidence issue of course.
-
Hard to put an order on it, they're all pretty essential with European football guaranteed.
-
PIF should be asking some very, VERY serious questions of Paul Mitchell.
-
Ability wise, I have no issue with DCL, especially given Eddie gets an extra 20% out of everyone. But we've seen the issues of relying on a back-up with an unreliable fitness record, particularly with Isak not being the most robust himself. It feels like a risk rolling that dice again.
-
I like the idea of having a target man option, where we can be a bit more direct, but I can't see us signing DCL. His injury record and availability v his wages wouldn't be worth the risk. Delap is more likely to join a club where he'd be first choice (Forest would be a good fit), but he'd still get plenty of game time here and the pathway to the England team is there for all to see. It'll probably end up being neither. I suppose it depends how much we intend to sink into the RCB and RW positions.
-
Sounds like someone from Delap's camp has been busy briefing the media today.

This chap doing the Lord's work.
-
Pretty sure Heron's comment was tongue in cheek like.
-
That's a fair point. With us seemingly looking at Europa League minimum, Delap should get plenty of minutes.
-
Can't see Delap, but would be very happy with that
-
Anyway, great boost is this. Glad to have him back.
-
He's a bit like that Will lad. Gets the odd bit right, but posts so much nonsense along with it that he firmly belongs in the ITK nonsense thread.
-
Nah. Given Juve have already accounted for it in their books, it's likely a very low bar to be met.
-
Lovely goal.

Quite enjoyed last night's game, but was always quite confident City wouldn't get beat.
-
Completely forgot about Kelly. Much like Minteh, wasn't really here long enough to get invested in.
-
I'm still not sold on him, particularly at the price.
