Yep, you could frame it either way. There's no point in worrying about it.

It's way too easy to read too much into what our opponents might do, when the reality is that it's in our hands. As far as I'm concerned, nothing has really changed. You could just as easily frame our tie at Arsenal becoming easier with the title done and dusted, when in reality it's been over for weeks and it's still our toughest remaining fixture. We just need to take one game at a time and enjoy the ride.

I'd take Fernandes as the CM back up.

How many times do you think you've watched it?

Howe has too much say over transfers, etc.

The key for Liverpool this season has been their consistently away from home. In a season where Man City have collapsed and Arsenal have struggled for creativity, they've been the best side by quite a margin. That said, Slot has benefited hugely from Klopp's ability to spunk circa £150 million on a brand new midfield last season, as well as Salah being in the form of his career until the New Year.

Not a lot.

Honestly what's the point in VAR? Shite decisions week after week.

I have no idea what his contract situation is, but we already need a CM and the noises on Longstaff don't sound as though he'll be at the club much longer. Selling Willock on top of that would need us to sign up at least two extra bodies in the middle, on top of far more pressing positions. It'll leave us with far too much to do this summer. We need a squad going into a season where we're going to be in EL minimum and we already have four other positions that are at greater need of strengthening.
-
It's all relative though isn't it? Everyone is a sellable asset at the right price. I just wouldn't be actively looking to shift him.
-
I wonder if we'll keep hold of him with a view to bringing Shahar through the season after. He's highly rated and been training with the first team squad a lot.
-
He started LCM and interchanged with Big Joe. He needed to add more end product to his game, but he never really got the chance to kick on. I know folk are absolutely repulsed by the idea of having a squad, but we're already short in CM. If we can get him back to anywhere near his best, he's a useful player.

He loves getting involved in a celebration.

Will Osula: Goal vs Man United nominated for PL Goal of the Season

It's just a sign of age. You lose track of the latest slang, innit. -
Peak Willock was decent. Press resident, lovely burst of pace and dangerous on the break. He's not really had a look in since his injury, due to the form of Gordon. He's not set the world alight in his sub appearances, but I'm reluctant to write him off without regular first team football.
-
Howe said he trained on Friday, but didn't feel quite right. Sounds like he could play if we absolutely needed him to, but they're worried there's something underlying.
-
How was the atmosphere? Sounded like a friendly on the comms.
