That's 5 for Haaland
-
That's a foul by Ederson
-
That was some effort from KDB
-
City get a penalty for handball
Not convinced that should be a pen like
-
No idea how City aren't winning
The longer it stays like this I fancy Leipzig to score
-
That ball over the top for Haaland is the one they need to play more often

Watkins is Villa's best player right now, which is why I compared him to Bruno, who is our best, but if that is too far fetched then let's say Joelinton rather than Willock. Would we accept a £100 million bid from Villa specifically, bearing in mind we have money already and they are direct competitors at the minute?
I don't think we would. It's about the optics of either club selling a major asset to the other specifically, bearing in mind the money we both have and the similar ambitions. Think they would avoid it at all costs.
We absolutely would accept that for Joelinton, you are mad if you think otherwise
Even though the owners have money the club isn't in that position yet where we can turn down that amount of money

You guys are missing the point
I don't think we are, they'd snap our hands off
Let's try a different player, if Villa bid £100m for Willock what do you think we would do?

So here's a question for you then ... if Villa came in and bid £100 million for Bruno do you think we'd accept that bid?
If you're still thinking about it, the answer is NO, not a chance that ever happens.
I'm not thinking about it, I'd tell them to do one but why are you comparing Bruno to Ollie Watkins? They aren't on the same level

Too late should have got him last summer. He cost Fulham £15 million which in hindsight was outrageous value. Can't believe we were after a number 6 and he wasn't on the list.
Fulham are going places and will be looking to build on what they have. They are looking like they are going to be in Europe next season too. Any conversations for him would start at around £60 million, and I can't see us doing that as there are too many other decent DMs of a similar profile on the continent that could be had for much better value.
No chance. Villa are rich and have the same ambitions we do of ruffling the feathers of the traditional so called 'top cubs' they will not be selling any players to us. Not to mention he is English on top of that. If we even thought about enquiring about him they would quote us £100 million just to take the piss, and even if we were crazy enough to bid that they would then reject it.
Apart from that, although he has done well recently, there are some fantastic young strikers out there that would be much better value, and who I think are probably better than he is tbh. Would not be a smart move.
Not that we would ever bid it but there's not a chance in hell they'd reject £100m for Watkins

VAR not allowed to look unless the ref gives a yellow?
They can look at any challenge if they deem it to be a red card offence I believe

This will not be easy, they've only lost 3 at home in the league and the last time was way back in September, since they've played the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and City so some tough fixtures in there
However it's a must win if we want to finish top 4 so hopefully we can get all 3 points

He was brilliant today, especially in the first half.
Wolves did well to get some blocks in otherwise he could have had a couple more.
He played with a real swagger today, think that's when you know he's really up for it.
Has to start every game from no until the end of the season.
-
Thought he was very good in that first half, though not for typical Maxi reasons, didn't really go on many mazy runs but he played a few really good passes for players to run on to (3 that I recall to Isak and 1 for Willock)
Those type of passes are not something he typically does so it was nice to see that side of his game
Should definitely keep his place in the team
-
Win our next 2 and going ahead of Man-U has to be the motivation.
As that not only puts us in a great position it also drags another team unto the mix, stating the obvious but better to be chasing 2 spots rather than just the 1

It was coming. Don't take your chances and you'll get punished

100% a pen for us btw for the handball, VAR looked at the wrong part of play
Thought Schar gave him a nudge so not sure it was a pen

Yep, Jiminez should barges Pope. Redknapp talking absolute shite.
Yeah, thought it was quite clear that it's Jiminez who pushes his shoulder towards Pope

Surely in that blown up view it looks like Jiminez's shoulder hits Pope

Nailed on for another 1-1 here
That's my worry with us playing so well, having lots of shots but not scoring a second goal
