So Liverpool or Arsenal going to win the league, urghh -
His finishing is of such a high standard I know some are obsessed with having a go at ASM every time Barnes does well but I'm one of those that was disappointed ASM was sold but equally excited that we had signed Barnes, simply because his finishing is several levels above ASM Hopefully he can stay fit and he can continue to make a right mug of those saying he was a daft signing and those that were impatient because he wasn't amazing in every game after a long injury lay off

Terrible game so far City with all the ball but creating nothing Arsenal happy to sit back and rely on the counter Arsenal will be the much happier of the two sides and I fancy them to nick it as they look comfortable at the back -

On the penalties, there isn't any dispute about the first one, only have to see the reaction of Coufal to know it was clear The second one will be debated for a while with no agreement, I lean towards it being a penalty. -

Tbf it seemed like he was politely asking for it and the ballboy looked like he knew that but pretended he couldn't hear him Don't think Kudus was being a dick like some seem to be suggesting -
I'm not even that bothered by his poor finishing, find him getting into those spaces quite commendable It's the rest of his game that is a massive concern He's weak in the tackle, decision making is terrible, his touch is poor and his passing is shocking At the start of this season and last he was much better, hoping this is just the injury affecting him and he can get back to being an asset rather than the hindrance he currently is Though, if offered anything north of £10m I'd take it
-
Yeah, he was class today Think for a while he's not been quite on it, even in games like Wolves/Chelsea where he scored I thought he was poor However today he was quality, kept dropping deep and their defence didn't know what to do and that pass to Barnes was perfection
-
I've always been impressed with him on the ball going back to when he first featured for Chelsea and even in the brief moments for us However today was the first time I was really impressed with him defensively, he was strong and pounced on whoever was on that left side not giving them time or space I hope he can now get a good run in the side and stake a claim to be starting from next season

Where on earth was Dubravka man? -
I presume if the medical advice was clear cut that surgery is required then he would have gotten it done Much like now, he's obviously been told surgery is needed However, if he's had mixed advice then I can't blame him for going with the one that doesn't require surgery A lesson for the club is probably not to trust the medical professional that reckons rest was the solution because me as a layman knew that was asking got a trouble
-
His betting appears to have stopped when the investigation began so any ban above what he's got currently would be absurd
-
Maybe you are right but it clearly appears to be a specialist role and Ross hasn't shown he can operate at that level yet Granted he's had some mentoring from Ashworth but that isn't the same as doing the job and having to deal with the various departments I know Brighton did something similar to what you're suggesting by appointing David Weir but they were seemingly much further along in their journey when Ashworth left in comparison to Ashworth leaving us

You want Jack Ross to be given the role of Sporting Director?
