  1. Based on our luck this season I wouldn't get your hopes up about getting a home draw if we go through
  2. Games like yesterday really highlight we are lacking some technically elite players There were many moments where one of their CB's/CM's hit a pass with serious power to the likes of Odegaard and Saka and the ball basically stuck to their foot In a similar vein I recall Botman playing a pass with far less venom to Miggy and his touch had the ball go a good 3-4 yards away from him, same with Longstaff too I love what Howe has built with this squad/team, when everyone is fit physically we are more than a match but technically we are lacking and that has to be an obvious area we focus on when we make our next signings otherwise we'll not close that gap to the sides above
  3. He still has developing to do. As tempting as it might be to keep him for next season I think long term another loan stint would do him wonders. Though, I guess a lot depends on what we do with the RW situation in the summer. I'd like us to sell Miggy, sign a RW and keep Murphy as the back up, let Minteh have another season on loan and then in 2025 keep him around to challenge for a starting spot.
  4. Yeah, this is a better result for us than Chelsea winning
  5. Off the post, so close by Chelsea, Liverpool got away with it
  6. Carragher being devastated is a delight but can't agree with that decision
  7. Fantastic header That'll be game over, Chelsea aren't scoring
  8. That's a superb finish on his weaker foot, great adjustment
  9. Good opportunity missed by Chelsea, Enzo should have passed it
  10. If he's bet after the charges came to light then he deserves to be punished and more severely If he gets an extra ban for bets made prior to this coming to light then that would be utterly ludicrous
  11. Was really bad tonight, some of the decision making was just baffling He hasn't looked right since returning from injury, probably a case of taking him time to get up to speed but the way Arsenal played tonight unless a player was 100% on it they would get badly punished
  12. That was an incredibly one sided half of football
  13. That was shite from Botman We are getting ruined here
  14. Yeah, I don't think they win the league Whilst they are on a good run (8 wins in 9 with 1 draw) the last few matches has been underwhelming Usually when they are on one of their runs they are like a juggernaut, they blast teams apart yet recently it's been a slog, they just about got a point against Chelsea and only just got past Brentford and now Bournemouth I don't see them getting anything at Anfield and that run of games (Liverpool away, Brighton away and Arsenal at home) will be where it unravels for them
  15. Aye he's not played a huge amount, as is often the case with City players it's better to judge them on their second season I think as things stand he's not played much and not been anything special when he has played I thought he was good at Wolves, though not City level good
  16. There's something in this game for Bournemouth, do look dangerous on the right hand side
  17. Looking at the stats and they are getting battered, probably fortunate it's only 2 0.11 xG versus 2.10 with 5 big chances for Swansea
  18. Wow, reckon if Swansea can grab another things could get ugly with the bewing
