Norwich on the front foot now, Hanley with a half decent chance of an equaliser

Their is no obvious reason that Leeds will be fine on current form
I agree on current form but 3 of their next 4 games are at home, they face Spurs, Villa and Norwich.
I just fancy them to win a couple of those. Based on logic it doesn't make sense I agree but football doesn't always follow logic

38% possession and 1 shot on target and people saying our goal was undeserved.
Stop embarrassing yourselves lads ffs.
They hit the bar twice so weren't a million miles away from a second

Ah yes, that crap Spurs side that beat Man City away less than a week ago.
Some people must be constantly surprised by the chaos of football like.
Lose 3 before that and then lost since, it's clearly an anomaly, which can happen but I think 3 points from a possible 15 tells you the form Spurs are in

Leeds will just stay up imo. They will look bad against some teams.
I think Leeds will be fine too, it's Brentford we need to drag into it by beating them

looking at the table again, hope Leeds get beat again at weekend - get at least a draw against Brentford and we’ll be above Leeds with a game and hand and 2 points behind Brentford (based on a draw) with 2 games in hand.
If Towneys back they’ll be up for it though s as they’ll feel a win will go a long way to staying up.
Fortunately for Leeds they are playing a crap Spurs side

After playing Man-U we were 4 points from safety and having played 2 extra games. We were 5 behind Leeds having played a game more
We are now out of the bottom 3 and if Burnley win their game in hand then we are only 1 point behind them. We have a game in hand on Leeds and 2 on Brentford.
We are in an unbelievable position when you consider the context. I thought we would still be at least a win away from getting out of the relegation zone so we need to remain positive.
I think by Saturday evening it will be a bit clearer as to how many clubs are going to be very much in it until the end.

Good finish by Elanga that, defending was a bit shite

Title race is definitely back on too.
Yep, I can see City slipping up at the weekend too

Can you see that? Genuine question
Nah, not really, certainly not a battering
I think Burnley will win by 1, which as long as we win then it's not disastrous
-
Hopefully Palace batter Burnley at the weekend
-
Burnley picking up 6 points in 2 games isn't ideal but this is still very much in our hands, that has to be the key focus
I reckon if you asked the clubs at the bottom whose position would you want to be in they would mostly say ours
-
It was inevitable, knew the City result was an anomaly
-
Another class delivery from Lodi, Atletico hit the bar, unlucky not to have made it 2-0

Leeds have a goal disallowed.
Good one, though not fussed about that game, convinced Liverpool will beat them
Wouldn't be too bad if results stay the same, though Spurs somehow not being shit would be useful

Think the cross came from our future left back
-
Atletico take the lead, brilliant header that

Man cant understand how spurs beat city watching this.
Tbf it's not that much of a shock really
In the relegationometer thread I mentioned that Spurs have been shite lately, the Man-City win is an anomaly, their style suited the vulnerabilities City have
I expect Burnley to get a result, I would be surprised otherwise
-
Salah scores it, 1-0 to Liverpool
-
Penalty to Liverpool

If you're talking about Spurs form, why ignore their most recent result though? Overall since Conte came in they've W3-D2-L1 away from home. Plus they have Eric Dier back.
I can see Burnley grinding out a draw, but it's a really tough game for them, against a team who has every chance of finishing 4th.
Because I see that result as an anomaly
They have a decent record against City and I think they have the right players to play in a way that City can be hurt (Arguably Kane and Son are the best attacking pair on the counter attack)
I hope I'm wrong but I can see them dropping points to Burnley today

But by and large, whenever Burnley play. They look absolute shit, whilst hanging in and keeping it tight. They never create much or see much of the ball. Arsenal and Man U should have won those games and dominated for most of the game.
I didn't mention Spurs' City result for that exact reason you mention. But I think it is a bit more than that. With the players that have returned from injury, got back up to speed and the two signings from Juve. I think Spurs have too much for a shite Burnley side. They are 8th and a good few games in hand on those above them.
I'm certainly not one of those fans that seem to pay no attention to the results below us. But if we are really worried about Burnley and what they are doing, then Lord help us.
I certainly agree with the last part, whilst I do pay attention and want those results to go our way but ultimately it's pretty much in our own hands
I think the the games tonight and the weekend will start to give us a good idea as to which teams are really going to be involved to the very end

I think Watford will probably win. But I’m not sure Burnley are suddenly decent off the back of one good result.
Spurs don’t look as good as previous recent seasons. But I still think they will have too much for Burnley.
It's not just one result, they lost by just 1 goal to Liverpool and drew with both Arsenal and Man-U
So them getting a draw/win against an out form Spurs* isn't inconceivable
*I don't pay too much attention to thr City result, prior to that they lost 3 on the bounce. Plus the way they set up and hit on the counter fast works against City. Can't play like that against Burnley
