Well Lurpaks law states there’ll be an “Injury crisis” soon. Then “hysterical fans”, followed by the “rallying of the press” in a gesture of same agent support, then the sack.
Already started, he said something about not having much to change with the injuries they have

He mentioned in his interview how 8 of the remaining 13 games are at home.
He won't be doing anything from a training, analytical or tactical perspective, he's pinning his hopes on winning games at home.

Don’t think Shelvey makes sense imo, when he has another year left after this one. If he’s still performing ok next Christmas time then fair enough. He’s been here years and has been total shit for most of that time, so has to do a level performance over a much longer period to convince me.
No chance in hell would I give Dummett a new contract, as not only is he an injury liability, he’s also a pretty average premier league player. As I mentioned in another thread, it’s an Edwards article, so take with a pinch of salt anyway.
I agree it's not a priority as it's hardly like loads of other clubs will be in for him, especially at his reported wage
Giving him a contract could be with a view that in 12-18 months time we sell him and get something back for him

He should be moved on. He'd be okay as emergency cover but he's barely ever fit enough to be even that. Only logical reason I can think of for an extension is the homegrown at club squad registration rules, don't think we have many.
I'm sure we have well over double figures in the current 25 man squad that counts as home grown so don't think we even need him for that
And if we plan on moving a number of them on then may as well let Dummett go and then make sure to sign a homegrown player
-
Shelvey and Schar have shown to be more than useful under Howe so them getting a new contract makes sense
Dummett if he wasn't always injured wouldn't be bad to have around but we know he's guaranteed an injury
It could as someone suggested just be a tactic of Howe to ensure the squad is united until the end of the season
I like Dummett but him getting a new contract isn't a sign of progression

Worked for the club for a good few years. Dare I admit that.
Some great folk at the club like any other but hand on heart can say there is an unhealthy obsession with us.
They are a big club, and have a loyal following but their envy and need to compete with us is fucking small time.
I've a good few stories I could tell
Another cracking result no the less...At what stage does the world conceded that they are where they belong. now?
I think the world has long conceded that, the problem is that they haven't
They still go on about being a Premier League club

You can't keep the Loch Ness Drogba quiet for too long

3 of their next 6 games are on Sky, lovely stuff, plenty of hate watching

Somehow if it stays like this they will climb back UP to the play offs position as Wycombe lost by 2 and they got a better goal difference
Shows how shit that league is

can’t see these even in the play offs , they are atrocious
They still have enough games left and the standard is poor so going on a run of a few wins can get them well into the play offs
Obviously getting that first win is the challenge, would be hilarious if they not only choked top 2 but mess up getting into the play offs
-
Downie mentioning Sunderland and needing to win to have a chance of top 2. They have absolutely no chance of top 2.
They are 11 behind Wigan having played 3 more, 17 behind Rotherham having played 1 more.
The focus of them has to be trying to finish in the play offs, anything else is delusional
-
That was timed nicely, watch Bruce lose and then Ben Arfa is on now hopefully to cause havoc
-
Full time, get in

It's troubling how much of my football consumption is hatewatching.
Same, not sure it's healthy but it's class when it goes well

Some halftime talk this must have been.
NB, West Brom have one of the highest wage bills in the league, and more marrachute payments to come next season.
I wonder if Mr Stay-puft will be given another season to let it slip through his buttery fingers?
We've seen this before, take the lead, sit back and hope for the best

Marcus Tavernier - brother of James Tavernier (former player of ours).
I was aware that's his brother, wasn't sure if he was at our academy too, as has been answered he was

Haha

Obviously all 3 losing would be perfect but I just can't see it
I think Watford will win, Burnley get at least a draw and Liverpool will beat Leeds
