We don't need to be bitter he has gone now.  Let albion fans do that and just enjoy Eddie.

    I could not disagree more

The way in which he left, that interview he did with Luke Edwards and then the coverage that followed was awful. Especially considering he went on about it being his boyhood club (which tbf I do believe him, it's just that he's a Man-U fan now)

Him losing and failing miserably elsewhere brings me joy, if that is sad, petty then so be it

  2. Absolutely chuffed to bits for Howe, took him a little while to rid us off the stench of Bruce but the signs were there early doors.

The way he's galvanised the squad and improved a number of individuals is nothing short of remarkable.

He's shut a lot of people up, including a number of our own fans who were absurdly talking about the possibility of him being sacked.

I'm intrigued to see how far he can go, hopefully he is the man to get us challenging for trophies in a few years.

?Hence why we’ve been linked with the likes of Kamara and Fofana since December, and into this coming summer.

    Fofana isn't a DM

Kamara is and would be ideal for us

  4. They are on to part 4 of the sportswashing thread, the more we win the quicker they'll get to part 5

They convinced themselves that we would be in the same league next season, with that gone their season is ruined, even if they somehow get to and through the play offs they are broken

  5. He's been really good lately, like a few others he's been transformed under Howe.

Whilst he isn't scoring as much as he was in comparison to that end of season run he went on he's actually playing much better and getting involved in the game

He kept nicking the ball off them and then that block at the end, superb.

To be honest I can see him being second choice as there is zero chance Dubravka stays if he is going to be backup. My hot guess for next season is a GK pool of Henderson, Woodman, Darlow.

Thoroughly depressing if our GK pool is Henderson, Woodman and Darlow

Henderson is average and the other 2 are crap

Aye. Ronnie's last season, Benzema had 5 La Liga goals and in the season after he left 21.

Yeah, he his movement and running was all to the benefit of Ronaldo and ultimately from a team perspective it was the right thing to do

I remember looking at the numbers and the last 2 seasons with Ronaldo he scored at 0.31 per game (0.45 if you look at the last 4 years with Ronaldo) and since then he's up to 0.64 per game

Is Poch a bit of a myth? Nearly won stuff with Spurs and probably over-achieved. But still fell short when it mattered.

Gone to PSG, has an amazing squad and one of the biggest budgets in the world. Yet they look all over the place whenever I watch them.

It’s not like they are getting any closer to winning the CL.

I wouldn't necessarily hold PSG against him, they've had a few managers that failed when it comes to the CL

It would be good to see him in the PL and see how he does with Man-U especially if he's backed and not lumbered with a mismatch of players

I've never heard Mbappe's or Messi's name mentioned since Real made it 1-1. Shambles from PSG.

PSG had a 3-4 minute spell where they kept the ball well but aside from that it's been disastrous at the back

  10. It was a necessary signing and has proven to be a good signing. He definitely helps the team as a focal point and we've moved up the pitch

It's a shame he missed that sitter against Everton but in general he isn't much of a goal threat.

Ideally we need someone that offers what he does but also is a goal threat as it would be a concern if he's our starting striker next season.
