He's saying they need 4 more points than us prior to that game, if they do that and then beat us they will pass us
-
Yeah, I'd go Everton win as that means Burnley stay 10 behind us with only 1 game in hand Obviously I hope we can win on Friday, followed by Leeds bearing Watford on Saturday and then Norwich beating Burnley on Sunday That would be the ideal set of results

Eddie Howe - Nominated for Manager of the Season
Geordie Ahmed replied to InspectorCoarse's topic in Football
Talk of replacing him is absolutely ludicrous. If he keeps us up (as looks likely) then that is one hell of an achievement all things considered. There is talk of if we want to kick on we need to reevaluate but in my mind if we want to kick he needs to be given a squad capable of doing so. There's not another manager in the league that will kick this squad on so why expect that of Howe. He was backed in January and he more than repaid that. He needs to be backed in the summer and then we can see how much potential he has. -

Should Chelsea reevaluate Tuchel at the end of the season. His tactics in the second half of the Brentford game was just blown out of the water. -
Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)
Geordie Ahmed replied to Disco's topic in Football
I know you didn't, I should have been clearer for the reasons I brought him up. Fraser doesn't get double marked yet there is next to no impact from him. Fraser doesn't get anywhere close to the grief that ASM does, it was similar to the times when HBA got more grief than Obertan/Ryan Taylor. Players like ASM will get that because they are an easy target, they see a dribble attempt fail and that's an obvious (but short sighted) thing to have a go at him. Get in a top striker and RW, then I think we'll see more consistency from ASM. -

Completed more passes than Fraser (27 to 23) and he completed more dribbles, 4 from an attempted 10 versus Fraser who didn't attempt a single one ASM would genuinely get less stick if he played like Fraser, Obertan, Ryan Taylor etc, just run to the full back and then pass back -
Yeah Striker is the absolute priority and then a genuinely top level RW, that sorts our starting front three out

On the 5 subs, I get why the big clubs want it but I assume for it to pass it would have needed 14 clubs to vote for it? In which case there are a lot of delusional clubs out there

How ironic, if they were honest the vast majority of them would admit they'd be delighted if they got this takeover

Some ending to the Algeria-Cameroon game Algeria levelled on the night on 118 mins to go 2-1 ahead on agg, then Cameroon scored on 124 mins to make it 2-2 and go through on away goals

Salah took the first pen this time and missed Senegal likely to win on pens

I think a Plymouth win would have been better as they play Oxford next so one or both will drop points, which helps the Mackems Though the game after is the Mackems away to Oxford, huge game for them
-
Sheff Wed winning now so unless Cheltenham score twice this lot will be outside of the play offs until next weekend at least

"Joint biggest" ?? The fact he realises that if we were down there that we would get more coverage should make him realise that the joint biggest comment is nonsensical, however delusions run deep there

Elliot Anderson (now playing for Nottingham Forest)
Geordie Ahmed replied to joeyt's topic in Football
I think it's a very different situation, City are light years ahead of us, they had so many games where they were winning that he could be brought on in or they could give him games with little pressure as they could win games easily We aren't in that luxurious position, we don't score lots of goals (yet) and each game will be very pressurised -

I really don't see him getting that many games I'd much rather he be loaned out and continue to play men's football, a season of 30+ games would be invaluable Then we can bring him to the first team squad to compete the season after -
I think that's an assist for Bruno, although it was a simple pass and a good finish by Richarlison

I still think I would send him on loan because the reality is if he's here he won't play that many games, whereas a half season loan allows him to keep developing -
Talk about an underwhelming list of keepers, don't think any of them is much of an improvement if at all over Dubravka
-
Only 17 as well
-
As you say that Alves comes but not for Araujo, it's for Alba
-
I was very much in that camp, although I think the challenges are very much different and whereas I'm not sure he would have put the same effort in here Though I thought it was a bad signing for Barca as well and that's proven not to be the case, he's been class

I have Premier Sports/La Liga TV
