Was stupid of him with the penalty, regardless of Agbonlahor falling over, it annoys me when defenders put a foot in when the player is going away from goal
Still going forward he was brilliant in the first half, unfortunately in the second half we barely left our half so he was stuck at the back

I agree MYM should be starting BUT it's not that bad
Against Ian Harte? Seriously? There's only one player in the league slower than Shola and that's Harte. In terms of stupid ideas it ranks right up there imo.
I meant not starting MYM is not as bad as playing Shola wide right, that was an awful decision

We really have signed two v. good players in Mapou and Sissoko. The both read the game well and like to bomb forward when the chance presents itself. Can't help but have concerns about how that's going to fit with Pardews prominent philosophy of safety first, maintaining shape and nullifying the opposition. Might be fine if Pards realises you can have a different gameplan when in possession and out.
With Sissoko in mf we'll have more control and hopefully pards will take the chains off.
Attacking Villa is the way to beat them (as daft as that sounds). Sit back and we're asking for trouble as their attack is the only thing going for them. If we're one - nil up then we need to press on imo, not sit back and invite them on.

We all thought Cisse and Ba would be the next Cole and Yorke when Papiss signed but didn't work out. No guarantees Colo and Mapou will complement eachother either but we can hope. Only weakness i can see would be the lack of height for set pieces but then i remember how Williamson was often weak as p*ss against smaller players anyway.

Colo is shit however he is suddenly mint when he was reportedly off home and then back to being shit again now he is staying
Haven't checked the Sissoko thread their, expect similar macktracking from when they were linked with him

Not all the time BUT when the player is going away from goal, is almost outside of the box why give the player a chance to dive? Just sheperd him out the box and then put a foot in if need be
