£££ and stability for his family would be my guess. A premiership club could not offer him that? Well, we certainly f***ing can't offer either. Good - stability I am guessing is a lengthy contract, certainly would not have given him that and ££££ I am guessing is similar to what he is reportedly on now, again I would not give him that

I will always appreciate the goals Nolan scored for us, especially against the Mackems BUT I am not that bothered about it if the alternative was to give him a lengthy contract His fitness is poor, he fails to control many basic passes, doesn't have much in terms of passing, are we really going to miss him that much? I doubt it

Getting him to sign an extension is massively important - not that fussed about Nolan or Barton BUT this guy is quality, getting a class CB is not easy and we should do whatever we can to keep him

Parker, get out of here. Parker was showed up by Nicky Butt in his last season here which says everything about him. Parker was replaced by Barton. I agree with this - he should have been sent on loan last season and even at the start of this season What I don't get is we obviously rated him enough to give him a lengthy contract yet we now want to get rid of him? Even now sending him out on loan would be the best situation - he would get the necessary experience and be a better player for it and even if we still wanted to sell him then I think we could get a higher fee

That wasn't the issue at all. The real issue was starting Hernandes ahead of Nani (like ive been saying for weeks tbf). Wing play is the only way you have some sort of chance against Barca and Nani would have caused them problems from the start (he caused them problems when he came on). Hernandes was totally annonymous. Fletcher should have also started ahead of Giggs too but that wasn't as big a issue. Did he?
