    Lee Cattermole

He hit my dad (with the ball) in the face when he was at Middlesborough.
  3. I would have ran around my estate screaming if Duff had scored. I knew that c*** would let us down
  4. The I is quite clearly silent, mate. Every commentator misses is out! Seemed to have started fairly well. Colloconni and N'Gogbia too
  5. Guy on Radio Newcastle keeps on saying 'Gutridge' and'Guterez'
  6. If only we had another left-back. Means we can't get the best out of Charles. A left back should be a certainty in January
  7. Yep, I'm sure loads of teams want an injured player
  8. Bit like us under Sir Bobby We aren't as bad as Pompey though
  9. be funny if Pompey went down
  10. Yesterday we were linked with Manuel da Costa from Fiorentina and this morning we are linked with Gokhan Inler (again)
  11. Wouldn't necessarily be a bad signing either. Unless he's another Jo
  12. It does seem quite a WISE idea to scout in France and Ajax, with most of the teams there think that Newcastle are a bigger club than the teams they are playing for (with exceptions though e.g. Lyon etc)
  13. Hopefully we'll get people in early, but that isn't a Newcastle tradition

    The Story So Far

Team: Newcastle United Current Position: 12th Where did you expect your team to currently be: After the first two games I was thinking 8th ~ Best player so far this season:Probably Shay Given after some top class displays but Bassong has fitted in very well too Worst player so far this season: Based on one performance, Cacapa against Fulham but I really don't like watching Damien Duff play, but he has scored two really important goals for us recently Best game so far: Watching us beat Pompey away was brilliant, because we NEVER win away. Drawing at Old trafford and Stamford Bridge was special too. Worst game so far: Sunderland away or Fulham away. Who would you like to sign in January: An attacking midfielder and some top quality youngsters Who would you like to sell in January: Alan Smith and terminate 'Nacho's' loan. Thoughts on your manager so far this season: He's really sorted out our away form and I'm starting to feel unusually confident about away games. The Wigan and Stoke games are a different story though General thoughts on your team so far: Getting better Where do you think you’ll finish from this point to the end of the season: Bottom half
