On the couple of short occasions I've seen him play I fancied him for CB. In fact I'm sure he was CB in whatever game I saw. He looked to have a smart head on him and a well timed tackle. Rare in a young defender.

I reckon we'll get something from it. They're canny gash themselves. What's Gyan's fintess like, anyone know?

Why the fucking bicker. We're buying a cheap player to replace either or both promising youngsters in Forster and Soderberg. Harper is probably off, fair enough if he doesn't want to have to prove himself to battle Krul, he probably deserves better, but there is no doubt that in the long run this is nothing but yet another money saving exercise which is taking priority over more pressing on field matters like making sure our squad is strong enough in other positions. If we really did need to let one of Harper or Soderberg go, or if we don't think Soderberg will ever cut it, we could have done this in Jan, there was no rush. It's the obvious mindset of the fat cunt and his dweeby sidekick that is infuriating. Money over performance again.

It shouldn't have any impact, but the more pressing issue is which of our keepers is going to be sold so that this lad makes us a profit. It's the only reason he's here.

I can see Berbatov not being in tip top condition tbh. I get the impression he could be a lazy bastard in the hols and pre-season. Utd need to break the bank for a CM, trouble is I reckon they need a top ACM and a top DCM. May be worth going for a player that has attributes in both. No idea who, mind. If he does well for us over a couple of seasons and is as good as we all hope he is, I can see Cabaye at Utd (from the little I know of him so far).
