You make out that him being greedy is a bad thing? It really isn't. It is when you're trying to take on a 3rd man a yard from goal at the byline It was his 'greediness' that got him into that position... Obviously you balance the options he has available with his own ability to make something happen. He had more dangerous options by that point that shouldve outweighed him wanting to go past another, he didnt need to. Do you know that? Do you know exactly what options he had. He is most certainly not a greedy player in the way you describe. He looks for goals, be that assists or his own. Well we had two strikers in the box infront of him with others around the edge of the area so yeah. You called him a greedy player yourself just earlier man. And Ben Arfa had clear angles to give those players the ball? Read my posts again regards to greediness.
  3. Capello in imo. I would love to see that.

Which is bollocks really, because no other player could even dream of conjuring up that position in the first place... Keep him on the bench and stick to hoof ball, which has cost us 4 points in the last 2 weeks, or bring him in to give us a whole extra element to our attacking game? Simple decision to be made here fellas.

List of "most balls lost" in La Liga: http://www.superdeporte.es/deportes/futbol/primera-division/estadisticas/balonesperdidos.html Man, Pep should bench that Argie fella. And VI wins the discussion[/end thread] Oi, that was my point. VI just provided the evidence - and many thanks to him. So yeah, people can just shut-up now.
  7. That would be great for England.

No ones having a go at him for todays overall performance Indeed, just the usual bunch with very little understanding of his role in the team.

  10. Let down by senior players with inflated egos. Don't know if you're beloved Drogba is in that mix, but there is clear evidence out in the public to suggest that others were certainly causing a lot of friction. Should have been given more time to kick out the deadwood.

He doesn't lose it any more often than the other fuckers, it just gets noticed more because of the expectancy when he has the ball, and because Pardew's drawn attention to it. He lost it countless times today, but like said totally outweighed by what he does when he doesn't miss control it, pass it to an opposing player, fall over or run into a cul-de-sac. It's a myth created by Pardew that he loses it so often. Seriously everybody loses the ball but people only pay attention when it's HBA thinking 'Hmm, Pardew has a point I guess'. It's not a myth, man. There's loads of times when, rather than play a simple ball to keep possession, he'll try something daft to keep the ball himself. I know a lot of times it would mean passing to Danny Simpson, but that's life... Nope. He is an attacking player that looks to create. He isn't going to waste possession going sideways or backwards unless he is under too much pressure. Would you rather us have 4 Scotty Parker-type players in midfield? Sure, they'll keep those passes going, but they'll all be fucking sideways.

fwi, Messi loses the ball the most for Barcelona. Should they drop him?
  15. Have no clue where you're going with this now. So defensive over Drogba

    Papiss Cissé

That's because he spent 60 minutes chasing after high long balls against 2 men with considerably larger frames.
  17. Clearly isn't or he wouldn't have come out to complain about it...
  18. Eh? What have Drogba and Lampard done wrong, apart from not playing particularly well? Something about a rather substantial anti-manager negative impact on the squad? In other words, nothing. What do you mean? They didn't turn the dressing room into a power struggle and went against their manager? Is that what you mean by nothing?

Ben Arfa's performance today sould have remove any indecision Pardew has over the right side tbqh.

  23. This. Played very close to his ceiling today, fair play.
