    Erik Pieters

    Urgh, pretty irrelevant - yeah?
  7. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/18/redknapp-modric-sale-tottenham Weren't the Tottenham fans on here adamant that Modric was not for sale a few weeks back? (apologies if some other sharp eyed user has already pointed this out)
  8. Remember when Mars bars were 20p? Well they aren't anymore and Dave wont buy one
  9. Ah so you don't want to make the bet. There's a good boy, now run along. Let me be very clear here because I don't want this to go any further. Your post seemed to imply that Struddige would simply be added onto the deal. Your post did not suggest that the deal would be changed any further, which may have included a reduction in money or the removal of either of the other two players. People mocked you because you were not clear enough...
  10. Just be a little clearer next time, yeah?
  11. Good offer. 27m+ 7m + 4m imo. Better deal than Arsenal got for Cesc. They'll get desperate soon and throw Sturridge in the deal. No they wont Ok care to make a bet that Sturridge will be somehow be thrown in the deal before the end of the window (not saying we'd accept but that a bid involving him would be made)? Will bet you 10 English Pounds that Modric will not move to Chelsea in return for Chelsea have bid 27m + Kalou + Benayoun + Sturridge. As that was the deal I was mocking?

  13. As long as someone comes in before the end of the window, I'm not bothered if it's before the derby either. It would be better if it was, but it's not the main thing. They've had 8 months to prepare and complete these deals Ian, the bullshit has to stop and they need somebody in before Saturday. The manager is a dead man walking if we lose that match, and rightly so imo, he has overseen a shambles of a summer. And there is still time left in the window. Christ, some people.

    Gervinho

In just the league? If you are talking all competitions you'll have p*ss breath my christmas. Scoring in his back garden doesn't count

    Gervinho

and yeah, there is a reason no better clubs went in for Gervinho than us and Arsenal.

    Gervinho

Gervinho terrible with his final balls again. Shocking.

    Gervinho

and obviously the FA can do nothing against Barton now thanks to their own rules.

    Gervinho

    All 3 warranted red cards.
  19. Probably why he's no longer in favor...

    Gervinho

He was violent. Those are the rules.
  21. Of course he is. Worse players have done that along the years. Not sure what argument this is? But, if I'm a team who are looking to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid this year I would be looking at much better options than Tiote.
  22. Tiote nowhere near good enough to be playing in a CL final. Sorry guys.
  23. Yes, Citeh have done just enough. Manchester City have had more attempts on goal in that half than Arsenal managed against us in the full 90.
