Pretty much this. Can only debate the player of the year, but I wouldn't grumble if any of the players mentioned were considered it. Would say selling Carroll was a lower moment for me than Hughton's departure. But I think that's more to do with me following it for hours on deadline day.

Always rated him. Wished we had been able to sign him before he went to Sunlun. He's a good striker, I think that does him justice. Put him up against a top top side in a big competition and he will struggle. But, in the league situation against defences like Arsenal's he is worthy.
