Also, I'd contest the use of 'inept' in this thread. There isn't a single footballer in the EPL who warrants that descriptor.

On reflection there are 'generally' worse players technically. I think my criticism needs to be refocused specifically towards his striking of the ball and not his touch/control.

I don't consider Shola to be poor technically, but think his problems are rooted in his poor concentration.

I think it's Jonas. The man cannot strike a ball cleanly be it moving or stationary. Hides his deficiencies really well in the way he applies his strength and pace. Don't take this as being an overall criticism of him, he's a good player for us.
