  1. they will get some cheaper foreign fans who are better at fighting instead. wait who am i kidding, there might be a lack of footballing talent in Scotland at the moment, but they can probably still fight.
  2. was there more than bullets in those parcels? heard that they were potential life threatening? i mean, how can a stationary bullet kill someone? answers on a postcard
  3. He may do, he may not. Really doesn't matter, well shouldn't matter. People will actually lap that shit up, take their 'arguments' on board and fucking run with them.
  4. How very constructive Ronaldo. You're slipping.
  5. You know it's all an act? That they do it for ratings and money? Treat it with the lack of respect it deserves man!
  6. I do place some of the blame on Shearer for our relegation Owen, sorry.
  7. I am going to go out on a tiny limb and assume that a journalist has royally fucked up a piece. routledge is close to agreeing terms with qpr to sign for next to nothing. he hasn't been released. that would make the most sense.
  8. Appreciated Colocho Friend put a doubt in my head and it needed clearing up.
  9. A br....damn, too easy Please, I beg you, put me out of my misery.
  10. so which one was it? or if you want it phrased this way: who was in charge when we shipped him out on loan?
  11. who sent routledge to qpr on loan? pardew or houghton?
  12. Cesc dropped some big truths today. Leads me to think he's on his way to Barcelona. Would be great if Arsenal fucked him over and flogged him elsewhere
  13. SAF gave a master class in how to deal with the media last night. He couldn't have done any better in spinning the incidents to suit his and the his clubs needs.
  14. Said it in the match thread and it's bloody true! He did exactly the same when Ben Arfa joined and was close to the first team.
  15. Problem comes with trying to interpret just how bad people are making him out to be and the degree you are away from that level... Anyway, I don't think he's good enough for us as a center back. I'd be happy if we sold him in the summer (providing we replaced him), It's just the way he holds himself around the pitch, so naive and yet he's been playing top flight football for long enough to have matured. He doesn't read the game well, he doesn't position himself well, he doesn't seem to have a competent head on for enough of the time he needs it. It all leads to me think that he never will mature enough to play CB for us. I'd like us to convert him to a right back. Similar to the way Ivanovic plays for Chelsea (except Ivanovic is a considerably better player). Actually, a Micah Richards comparison would be closer to what I'm getting at. I think he's capable of doing a better job than Simpson, purely down to his physical presence.
  16. A bit from column Ireland, a bit more from Column Colo, for me. A bit more understanding between Ireland and the team will come with time, naturally.
  17. Please don't take my criticism too harshly, but you can't really argue against Williamson's limitations. I just don't feel confident when he is confronted by a 'top 6' player (for want of a better description). I think he has the skill-set to deal with those players, to some degree, but he needs to work hard to do it. Particularly the mental side of the game, which is by no means an easy thing to do. And by that I mean building some self confidence, enough to feel confident when confronting the likes of Nani and Rooney. It's noticeable that he lacks this, and it's something that Colo and Jose ooze. However, he seems to have a level head and always looks motivated. There is nothing stopping him using the good foundations he has laid to improve into a 'top 6' defender. But it will be tough, not sure he can do it.
  18. That team is shockingly bad. Just no balance and, of course, Smith holding. The team that started last night should win with ease. I stress should.
  19. I see a lot of little things that are wrong, which isn't really a problem aside from coming up against world class players, but then I always remember that he is keeping Saylor out of the team. Actually love Mike as a player
  20. We're lucky Nani didn't stay on the pitch for longer after he switched sides. Sorry but it's true. Simpson and Wilo couldn't handle him. Loads of time for Simpson of course and he has improved massively and is definitely good enough for us. Just needs to keep getting better.
