Too fucking right. If only we had a proper centre-forward. I mean, Ade did all right overall, but fuck me, just stick it in the net. Funnily enough, West Ham fans in the run-up were slating Jaaskelainen. He was fantastic tonight. 62% possession and 25 shots (16 on target), and we could have lost.

Pretty remarkeable how we always start to play better in terms of our style of play after we go a goal behind. I think that's fairly typical tbh. The side that goes ahead usually sits back slightly, which gives the team who have fallen behind a bit more time and space. In addition, conceding can give you a kick up the arse. More remarkable is how poor your results have been after going a goal behind. Can't see that lasting though.

This question is always tough - I presume you mean how they're rated in the media. We think Kyle Walker's had a shaky season, and you guys all think he's overrated, so who exactly is overrating him? I'd suggest that Tiote might be overrated, but you guys clearly know how disappointing he's been this year. I think you overrate Colo a bit, as I think Cabaye is more important for you - if anything, he's underrated. Liverpool overrate Lucas a bit, Lennon is a little overrated (he divides opinion at Spurs) and Defoe the same. The problem with someone like Bent is deciding whether he can be called overrated when so many people know exactly what he is. I'd say Mark Noble was overrated, but the bastard will probably have a blinder on Monday. I worry that Dembele is overrated. I think Bale is both over- and underrated.

What were the problems today?

We haven't had a single one all season. I think Swansea are the same.

This seems to have been an attack justified by our being a "Jewish club", like the one in Rome. It doesn't appear to be the typical "our thugs v your thugs" footy punch-up - more a far-right group looking to make a point.

There's a Spurs security group that apparently travels with the away fans nowadays to these games. These are a few quotes from someone who was in the pub: Sad that it has come to this, but glad that something like that is there for backup. Completely unconnected to Lyon. That guy above was a 51-year-old bloke who was there with his son (20). A group of 20 or so apparently asked if they were English, then attacked them, and had him on the ground kicking his head in. Some locals dragged them away, thank heavens.

Do you know the story behind the pic?

THINK before you post mind. Should have thought before I posted that, to be fair.

I see what you did there...

Looks like I'll be RAWKing tonight, again. Will Carragher criticism be allowed?
-
his mere presence inspired his team mates His mere presence inspired you to go on about him again . Hee hee. The time-wasting, diving bastards. We might even have scored all our goals in injury time, IIRC. Still, we weren't great, but hey.

Woken up this half, thankfully. Not sure what AVB's hairdryer's like.

Sounds a fair bit like your game today.

It's just par for the course, in Europe. Drives me nuts.
-
We're not playing well at all, but it's so frustrating when you can call all the shit decisions before he makes them.
-
We had him last week. He was awesome. Forgot it was this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Stark He's been fucking terrible. As homer as a homer can be.
-
Textbook European ref today *sigh*.

No world wars for 60 years and now they have an awesome national team. I'm sure it's a coincidence. You might have something there. You guys have been at war somewhere pretty constantly from 1941, and look at yours .

Worrying feeling that Arsenal will have a blinder tonight.

I had my doubts too. Someone on Redcafe picked it up - supposedly the author is a longtime RAWKer and genuine.

From RAWK, I believe:

Did you get to see Alan Comfort? One of the all-time great lower league players. Yeah, I fear for Orient. I'm hoping against hope that West Ham get relegated and the stadium proves to be a disastrous move.
-
Don't get me wrong, they're my second team. IIRC it's against League regulations for anyone other than the O's to move in, as it's too close to Brisbane Rd.

I still think he's done a good job. Borini was supposed to score goals. Now he has Sturridge to play with too.
