Not to mention they're completely manufactured and soulless. I'll get a sick enjoyment out of Liverpool throwing it away but, gun to my head, I'd still prefer it if they won. I'm at the stage where if anyone other than us wins the league I'm perfectly happy for it to be a manufactured and soulless team. I can just laugh in the face of any attempted gloaters.

I'd suffer another year of mid-table meritocracy under Pardew if it meant Stevie GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE didn't lift the PL trophy. Now this is beyond the f***ing pale, you sick b******! Meritocracy. f***ing made a balls of that. Sorry everybody Think you were just about bang on tbh. So do Pardew and Ashley, though.

Some time during the 80's, Peter Jackson scored a blinding OG at Old Trafford. A diving header too if I recall. We'll let him off, he didn't make a hobbit of it. I remember the way it nestled in the onion baggins. Well this is orcward. You're all just trolls.

...because nobody ever links Abramovich's Chelsea with corruption??? .

I can't see him ever fulfilling his real potential. That isn't taking away any blame from Pardew who royally f***ed up but HBA seems to have been self destructive even from him youth days. Something not right in that otherwise brilliant head of his. Ben Arfa is flawed, I don't think many would argue on that score. Forget tracking back, even going forward he has a tendency to hog the ball and that would see most top clubs steer clear. But we aren't a top club and some of the players starting ahead of him in a team which struggles to score goals aren't fit to be on the same pitch. That's the issue. The sad thing is, you can see that he's trying to fit in within Pardew's anti-football framework, and is trying to make things work out with a club for the first time in his life. This has been nothing but a complete waste of an opportunity for both sides. I can't really think of a bigger waste of talent in all the time I've been watching sport. Paul Gascoigne. Not that he was without success, but I genuinely believe he was one of the most talented footballers of all time.

Those Pardew vs Sunderland stats are amazing.

Naah, pretty modern Greek style. Did you not see Euro 2004?

I think you're allowed to make that joke once a month .

Don't think Immobile's going anywhere.

Damn. There go our chances of nabbing LVG.

Johnson should have buried that.

Think it's a foul though.

Arguably the worst set of games I've ever seen in the Premiership, though I didn't see any of the Cardiff match tbf.

Still at least three teams worse than them this year, though. Laudrup probably did enough to keep them up this year. If they play like this next year they're f***ed. Depends who comes up, though. Villa will still be there next year, and at least one of Norwich, Cardiff or Sunderland.

I like that reffing on the header. Feel like I've seen too many such challenges recently where the ref gets conned into giving a free-kick to the guy who's not actually trying to head the ball.
-
If it's any consolation, I've got Villa on as well here, and they're far worse than you guys.

Best reaction to a goal ever .

Just shows how little of a shit we give .

I guessed that with that line-up your bench must be ace. Guess not.

If we get a proper manager, they could build a team round him for the next decade. Or the next two years, before someone taps him up.

Holtby will be a big miss for them. At least we've got through the first 15 without letting in two goals. We've got an almost completely makeshift defence (I include Rose in that, frankly). Can see our typical game: let in a couple of silly goals but our classy players making a couple too.
