  1. We weren't half as bad as our commentators were saying in the first half, just cannot defend to save our lives (Modric and Jenas particularly unconvincing). Ronaldo man, as for beating Arsenal more convincingly, we had more shots on target than Arsenal, more shots off target than them and more corners. You were the other way round. The main difference was that you defended better and scored at the perfect time, while we gave away two eminently defendable goals and were two down before the half hour. Arsenal were better than both of us in general play.
  2. Well, this is terrible. A lot of unconvincing players out there, they look very tentative. Carroll has done OK, covered a lot of ground, but the midfield has so far failed in almost every aspect. (That's what comes from not having Spurs players on the field... )
  3. Lee Chung Yong is good. Lee Chung Yong is awesome. Lee Chung Yong is skillfull. Lee Chung Yong. Lee Chung Yong. Two assists. Lee Chung Yong... It's a sad sad situation. Beckham is good. Beckham is awesome. Beckham is skillful. Beckham. Beckham. Free kick. Cross. Gentle jog. Beckham. Bend it like Beckham...
  4. As long as he waits till we're 4-0 up I can live with it.
  5. Tevez off, Barry on. Hmmmm. Bet they go and bloody score now.
  6. Should have been a goal for City, fantastic goal line clearance
  7. Doesn't really need saying, but if it wasn't for Tevez Man City would be desperately uninspired.
  8. In May 2010 figures in the Daily Telegraph stated that Dyer, who had made only 22 appearances and had never played a full 90 minutes for West Ham, was the club's top earner on £83,000-a-week. His deal included £424,000-a-season for image rights and £100,000 in loyalty fees. Image rights?! X-rays?
  9. I know he's a bit of a twat and earns an insane amount, but I can't help but feel sorry for him.
  10. Hopefully we'll get another sharpish. I thought Blackburn looked pretty useful against you.
  11. 80% possession Spurs atm, Blackburn parking the bus. Every bloody week, we've got to work out how to win these games.
  12. Sucked them in then hit them on the break. United look ropey.
  13. Collins does that pushing thing every time in the air.
  14. It's the Sun and Spurs. They just make stuff up, you know it. We're sell-to-buy anyway I reckon this year, like almost everyone else.
  15. It's not just you. Spurs are the same too. Main thing is, we're missing the Carroll (or possibly Defoe) and you're missing the VDV. There are a handful of teams who perform better when they're gung-ho but leave gaps (Spurs, Newcastle, Blackpool, a bit of West Brom) and a few teams who keep it tight and look for a goal on the break or a mistake/set piece (Sunderland, Stoke, Wigan, Blackburn, Wolves, Birmingham). Then there are teams that can mix it up more - sitting back away against good teams but capable of playing good football going forward when asked (Villa, Everton, a bit of Bolton, Man City). Then there's the good stuff......and Liverpool.
  16. Hope Blackpool play their reserves against us too.
  17. always get the impression with that that it's become vicious in an attempt to legitimise itself, as stupid as that sounds southampton - pompey the same, like they're out to prove how much they hate each other instead of actually wanting to win a football match & bragging rights Strange thing to say about Arsenal v Spurs. Have you never seen the "dart through the nose" picture? When do you think it became vicious? I think that people always feel their local derby is rougher because they grew up with it. Anyone saying that the Old Firm derby isn't the biggest in the UK is completely insane. You really should visit the Saracen's Head.
  18. They won't if they're allowed to be offside. Or if refs don't book them for tackles like that one from Davies.

    MLS 2010

Very kind of you (they're partners with Spurs)!
  20. Ah, they're making it up, nice work lads.
  21. BBC site says Ibra scores? I thought we might be on a delay in the Us, then Higuain scores to put Real one up. Eh?
  22. If I was playing against him there, I'd have been so tempted to take a run up and kick him hard up the arse while he writhed around. Maybe even toepunt him up the jacksie.
  23. He's already there, brummie. He's already there. Obviously, I'm speaking of a hypothetical world in which there is a greater club than Tottenham. Signature'd for truth.
