You’re already seeing the difference in teams like Haiti. Better players all round but almost more importantly good coaching and organization. There will still be mismatches, but they’ll hopefully be fewer and fewer.

With all that diving and feigning injury? No. Because of socioeconomic disparity? Yes. Because of population? Yes. Because they should have scored? Maybe, although England should have scored too, as shown by xG. Because they arguably had the best player on the pitch? Because you think it would have been nice if they did? Sure. Which was the reason you thought they deserved it?
