I do not trust sissokos mentality whatsoever. We have seen that ability is not the be all end all. Rafa is already stating confidence and mentality is an issue for us. Sissoko is a good player when he wants to be, we need players who want to play for us. I cant see sissoko going, well i played well at the world cup and didnt get my move but if i put a shift in at championship level maybe then. He has no reason to care, he wants to go.

They said on the chron that we've put the most crosses in of all championship sides so far. Yet we're 17th or so for having the ball in the oppositions final third & 19th for shots. Which suggests crossing the ball to a 5 foot 9 lad continously rather than playing it through might be the very specific issue. He should have a partner either way.

Yep, very feasible. Its feasible, then we need several other non-strikers to get about 15 between them such as? Aarons & Shelvey are our next most likely, perhaps they will. Im just saying id prefer another scoring midfielder, maybe we dont need it. Guthrie & Raylor both had a shot on them though & could put a pass/ball in. Shelvey should have that, its all a bit early to say. Loads of variables. I'd hope Mitro would do better than Carroll did that season, he's far more established than Carroll was so hopefully he'll make a point. We need to get going though.

Swap Barton for Jonas. Either way, we did have scoring mids, the guys who got the assists were Guthrie, Jonas & Raylor etc Shelvey & Richie should be competing with them. Richie got nearly the same as our top two assisters put together that season on his own at this level two seasons ago. We could probably do with another attacking/creative midfielder, beyond that we should already have the players at this level.

Completely agree with this tbh sick of getting championship standard player's Aye, because Premier League players are lining up to be our third/fourth choice centre back or our second/third choice striker. We're a Championship club at the moment. Come December when Mbemba's pulled his hamstring and Lascelles is suspended we'll be pretty thankful to be able to fall back on Hanley and Clark as our backup centre backs to be honest. I'm all for being ambitious but let's not get ridiculous. The problem is that we should have spent the 10m we spent on Hanley and Clark on a first team centre back and made Lascellas third choice Lascelles was superb end of last season enough to become captain which near everyone agreed with, this hindsight fickle switching of ideas is silly man. Have belief in players, he was a cut above at prem level for a period under rafa.

We need more goals from midfield, last time we had Nolan, Guthrie, Raylor, Barton etc who could get the odd one. Richie's a great addition & Diame should add some. Hopefully aarons will step up, we're a bit stuck then though. De Jong perhaps, another would help. Id be suprised if we went for another striker

Any striker will need a run of games & chances to get confidence regardless, Ameobi really got us going last time. It took Lovenkrands 9 appearances before a goal & Carroll got 2 in his first 10. So Gayle/Perez/Mitro will need time whoever it is & we need goals from the team in general. I feel with Riviere he'll get a game & be written off if not useful. We cant just swap every couple weeks, then you have Armstrong aswell.

For me it's not, I can't stand the way in which he leaves a huge space in behind him constantly. Their 2nd goal, why's Mbemba at rb position? He's covering an attack minded rb. Once he's beaten its 1 on 1. The first you can blame Shelvey for not bothering to block, still Anita may have dealt with that better too. Certainly i think Janmaat should be working his way back into a side proven to keep CS if we do not when he's playing.

Is it a coincidence that the two huddersfield goals were set up from Janmaats position? Spurs goal in the last game of the season was scored from his position? We kept CS at prem level with Anita there, him & keeper are the only change. Now we're conceding 3 in 2 to fulham & Huddersfield?

I dont get this Hayden lad starting, nothing against him. He started about 9 games for Hull last season, hows he walked into our starting line up? He wasnt exactly hugely influential in them making the playoffs as he played less than 10 games worth of minutes. His choice seems bizarre, surely a 21 year old should be getting gradually brought in.

Just wanted to say i agree on Tiote btw, understand he's not well looked upon but he was superb in the prem end of last season. The guy still has the ability, makes no sense to not be playing him. Sissoko constantly talks us down, Tiote says nowt and has played well most times recently? Dont fully get why we're intent on moving him on, he must train awfully or be a really bad influence. Why buy players when you have someone who could anchor a midfield in the prem?

Our last side had a point to prove, as everyone wanted to take the piss. Nolan, Carroll, Smith etc created an ethic & fighting spirit. We never looked back. Im struggling with the concept we dont have the players when half of these did alright at prem level. People are slating Anita who helped us draw with Man city a few months ago. They struggled to score past us with the same defence bar Janmaat? Surely its more mental than physical or are we genuinely saying Huddersfields players have more ability than ours currently?

I really don't think it's this cut above as the media kept peddling. Can't see how we're any better suited to the division than Brighton, Derby, Wednesday never mind the other two relegated clubs. We were drawing against Man City and Liverpool last season with many of the players we have now. We've upgraded on some of them.

Atleast we'll go attacking again now
