  1. I'll give him his due, he's really good at being a boring limited 6/10 ginger mackem cunt.
  2. Of course its not moot ffs, they're both midfielders who play for Newcastle.
  3. Handy bursts of speed ffs Sissoko is twice the player Anita is, regardless of who is manager.
  4. He's not anywhere near as good an athlete and clearly far less of a threat to the opposition goal. Anita is exactly the kind of limited player I'm talking about. I think he can play one position and one style of football. He's a pass-and-go player, a recycler of possession. In the right team he'd likely be good as he was at Ajax but he's not got a lot about him.
  5. What makes Anita a more 'capable footballer' than Sissoko? In the right team Anita would possibly be a good pass and move player, but he's far more limited than Sissoko. It's not even a contest between the two.
  6. He's a far better 'footballer' than the rest of our CMs and many in the league. He drives forward with the ball positively, can pass, can cross and can score. Sissoko is anything but limited. Erratic, inconsistent and possibly unorthadox but not limited. There's so many midfielders in the league that define limited before Sissoko. The numerous safe passing/good in possession types that are in vogue for start.
  7. Ashley would do it in an instant if the kid is any good mind. Move him to us on a cheapo deal and put him in a far better shop window. Selling players directly out of Scottish football is never gonna be profitable for him.
  8. From bits I've seen of him he seems likes a mix of Sigurdsson (similar build, languid style of movement and his technique in striking the ball) crossed with Kevin Nolan's goalpoaching from that sort of advanced midfield position. Slightly less technical than Sigurdsson but more mobile than Nolan maybe. I wasn't expecting a special footballer but somebody competent technically who can chip in with goals at various ranges.
  9. So what do City need in the final game to go through?
  10. Unbelievable luck for Man City. They'll get through now.
  11. Transfermarkt normally does but I can't seem to get it to load. Their website has been shite since they updated it: http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/newcastle-united/gastarbeiter/verein/762 edit: this is the 3 NE clubs as of March this year using transfermarkt, it includes some reserve players who were only part of squads and never actually played though: http://uploaded.net/file/wa7ssfsx Used it to make part of this infographic: http://uploaded.net/file/45h1ecib
  12. Valencia is one of the best stadiums I've been to like. Defo top 5.
  13. Depay is brilliant and expensive. Zero chance.
  14. There is no way somebody as creepy as Rodgers could actually be good. Carried by Suarez.
