I saw Ince play live the other week. He was easily bullied out of the game and fairly anonymous, talented but still a player a long way from his peak in development. The kind of player we should have bought in the summer as a long term project, not one to drop into a struggling side and ask to make a difference.
If we had a set style of football and had a manager that could lay framework for a player stepping up from the Championship to work in then Ince would be a good bet, but I'd fancy Remy to make a bigger instant impact in terms of being physically and technically much further ahead in his career. That's in spite of his match fitness/form.
ACN in the future though as he plays for Gabon.
Remy might go to next World Cup\Euros.
During the season the ANC though.
Not anymore is it? After this season or something. Probably wrong like.
Yeah it's wrong. It's moving to odd years, but staying as a January competition.
Well they hosted the last one but failed to qualify for this years.
Their qualifying record is quite erratic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gabon_national_football_team#Africa_Cup_of_Nations_record
I wish I'd never gone, personally. Just found the whole experience completely depressing.
I'm going to Norwich next week.
Going with 3 mates I haven't seen in years though, so looking forward to it. The match is almost an afterthought, depressing.
That was at £15 a ticket too, not that ridiculous. At least QPR had the excuse of being charged double that.
Wonder how many away fans were there as well?
Dunno, but I was at the Boro - Brizzle City game last month and their away support was truly pitiful - so I doubt very many at all.
