Reckon it'll be Marveaux that goes, which would be a bit of a shame.

    That goes without saying.

I reckon its Marv and not Obertan, unfortunately. Depends, they might see Oba as the right player to sit on the bench covering what they've got instead of Remy who can fetch them £10m and can be spent elsewhere. Don't really know the team that well, but thought they had someone big in that role who's name escapes me, his brother plays for them. Also , Marv is on a pretty penny. Edit: Ayew. Son of Abedi Pele, there's a 3rd brother that plays somewhere too IIRC. Strong footballing genes there.
  4. Very true, seems where theres a will theres a way regardless of costs.

I'm not sure why he's fallen out of favour there this season as I haven't been paying much attention, but I've always thought he was quality when I've seen him. Almost certainly means bye-bye Demba if true.

Are we really in the kind of bargaining position to sign players of this standard right now?
  7. Just seen they've got Malaga away next weekend. How much would Pellegrini like to stick the knife in further!
  8. Nope. I can see Real sacking him over the winter break. Very much doubt it.
  9. Hope Atleti win, keep things interesting
  10. Horrendous set of televised fixtures today. Hoping either La Liga or PSG/Lyon can offer some entertainment.
  11. He just had a random burst of form, he's always been fairly terrible.
  12. Rafa lost the plot at Liverpool and was a complete disaster at Inter though.
  13. Chelsea are without doubt the worst side ever to win the Champions League, even worse than Liverpool's flukey run in 05. 6th placed finish, lost both the spin-off games from the win, out before the last 16 this year. It's an ugly blemish on the history of the competition that they garbaged their way to the trophy.
  14. Died BBC says 'out of danger'? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20747164
  15. He's great. Love that he tries to play 1 touch football as an instinct. Can't wait for that lifetime of footballing education to be battered out of him in 12 months.
  16. First time in a while it feels like an obligation going to the match rather than something that I'm actually excited about. Doesn't help that's its too early/I'm too lazy to have gone for drinks beforehand. Gonna be shit this.
