Enrique to score in a way similar to his chance away to Pompey when he burst forward and sent it towards the top corner.

Absofuckinglutely. This is key, there is just so much work to do, there is no time for sitting back mauling things over, having a break, then finally making the decision on who will be the permenant manager some time in late June early July. But why do I get the impression that that's exactly what will happen ? aye i want our team to be signed at the start of the season in time for the 1st game, none of this before the transfer window shuts s***, really players should be signed so that they start pre-season training, that gives you better preparation no, no, no, don't you know it's haaaaaard to sign players these days? it can only be done right before the window, apparently If you were a Chairman of a club why would you sell a player a month before the window ends?

Last 10 matches: Newcastle United - 6 points Aston Villa - 7 points That's not a huge gulf like.. Especially considering we had the much harder last 10 matches. aye righto, we're almost as good as villa You don't think its true? Villa have been **** since Christmas (like us), has no-one seen then play recently? If the league started in 2009 Villa would be close to the relegation zone.

Could say the same for R.Taylor right back. Funny how he's got the nod as substitute recently though, when needed, and that S. Taylor has been playing at centre-half since he returned as well. Edgar wasn't even named on the bench against 'Boro OR Fulham. Why the f*** would Shearer alter the defence that much on the back of a must-win (or draw) game? It would be mental man. If Edgar is to be chucked in at the very deepest of ends, it will either be at full-back or instead of Coloccini. The latter being far, far more likely, but still not that likely at all. Stoke was 'must-win', Edgar was thrown in at the deep end and was our best defender. He's to slow for RB, that's why his proper position is CB. Using evidence such as R.Taylor has played and been on the bench means jack ****, he's **** regardless of which managers have been playing him. The man who picks the team/squad has selected Ryan Taylor for the previous 2 matches and has used him from the bench when needed, while Edgar has been nowhere to be seen. How the f*** does that mean "jack s***"? It's surely evidence that Shearer favours Taylor over Edgar in regards to the current first-team squad? I thought we were talking about what we wanted rather than what Shearer would pick. That's what I was on about, just because Shearer picks R.Taylor it doesn't make him a good player.

If our best defence is Beye-Taylor-Bassong-Enrique then we are half-way there. Unless you mean in the grand scheme of things.

I think I'd rather play Edgar in the middle with Colo and have S.Taylor at right back. R.Taylor is just **** and would be an easy target for them. Edgar should be able to cope with Carew as well better than most of our CBs.

I think Steven Taylor has a brain like a football, in that its just filled with air.

Different papers are using the same quotes and coming out with different stories. Obviously the Daily Mail love us ( ) and so put a negative spin on the quotes.

watched him play for larissa against panathanaikos the other day, very nearly scored. I dunno why anyone would include Dabizas, he was a ******* liability! no he wasn't. not a top draw player by any stretch but easy premier quality, a leader by inspiration, not a bad ball player and i think he may be our top scoring centre half of all time (or at least in the premiership era) We've had plenty of players who were Premier League quality and better than Dabizas. Just seems like a weird one to include for me.

I sometimes wonder why we need players like Martins at all considering all they have is misguided pace, poor touch and stupid brains? Why don't we pack the team with players with so much nous and experience like Geremi, Owen, Nolan, Viduka, Butt and Cacapa? Not to mention Smith who might be available on Sunday? This is what I mean by Martins' fanboys. No-one is denying that he's good player but, surprise surprise, he does have some faults. Isn't that sarcasm? Why make a big deal of it if you are going to use it yourself? I wasn't criticizing you for using sarcasm. I was saying you were being sarcastic as you obviously (I assume) don't want the team filled with the likes of Nolan. You were getting wound up because people were highlighting Martins' obvious faults.

Well it looked a lot like sarcasm to me... From me or you? You. "I sometimes wonder why we need players like Martins at all considering all they have is misguided pace, poor touch and stupid brains? Ermmm, you do realise that before the Boro game, we were level on points with West Brom...? He's not saying we shouldn't be down there, just West Brom shouldn't be that high up!
-
Exactly, he should take a leaf out of Rooney's book... Sorry i'll rephrase that,'Typical FOOTBALLER TBHno loyalty to this football club what so ever. Exactly

Bruce praises him loads that's it. Bruce said Ryan Taylor was better than Beckham at free kicks.

When was the last time anyone saw him do this when both players started from the same position He's playing hampered by a groin injury according to the club. Do you really expect him to explode from the blocks if that is the case? He hasn't used pace for about a year though. bullshit When was the last time he used his pace to scoer a goal, like Bellamy used to. There's too many Martins fanboys, he's good player only an idiot would deny that but he doesn't play to his strengths.
