I'm probably like a broken record I know but I truly believe as a footballer he is really average and although he will cause a side problems with his height and strength a smart defender or tactics would easily nulify him in my opinion. a lot of goalscorers would be classed like that. The only time in the next three that last night's game is repeated (i.e. Real at home) is the first leg of the CL tie and a 1-1 in that game would be a pretty bad result for Real so I don't think they can take too much confidence from the result.

This is actually fairly probable. All of the world's fastest footballers would have very close and nearly identical speeds. It would be the same in athletic events like 100M. All should be approaching the upper bound of physical possibility. Come off it. 100m runners are directly competing against each other on the same track and with the exact same objective. And I don't think Andy Carroll would have a photo finish with Gareth Bale in a 100m race.

Who hates them? I dunno if anyone 'hates' them but I see a lot of posts saying I hate the way Barcelona are praised to high heaven etc. etc. So why put that in your post then? Just because some people reckon some on here go overboard with their praise doesn't mean they hate Barcelona. I certainly don't anyway. Barcelona praise-haters then? Either way, after every big Barcelona game you get the same arguments. Personally, I think most people like good football and Barcelona are a good example of this so its natural people will praise them, some people seem to dislike this for whatever reason.
