Guthrie was fantastic for us last year and also in the Championship season, not just decent or good but fantastic. f*** knows what's happened at Reading but he could have done a job for us this year. As I said, promotion season and last season, when we were doing well, he was fine. When we weren't doing well, he was a big contributing factor to why we struggled. I've no confidence whatsoever he's the sort of player we needed this year. Relegation season you're being harsh on him tbh, it was a shocker for all concerned and he was a young player coming into a chaotic situation. First season back up he barely played for whatever reason. Other seasons he was more than fine.

You're missing the point Hans, some posters over rate our players, and Neesy simply will not rest until absolutely everyone has accepted it and everyone who's ever over rated anyone comes clean. Some people overrate the importance of the manager and that the manager is to blame for almost everything which is no where near true. Players are responsible for their own performances when they go on the field. When a team are out of form collectively for a whole season, that's the managers fault. There are varying degrees of middle ground where certain players have been better/worse in certain games, but I've no doubt where the main fault lies. Literally every player has been shit. They need to stop letting the manager down and turn the shit switch off.
