  1. What's going on with Bridge? Another case of O'Neill signing a pointless British player on massive wages and not playing him or is he injured?
  2. Why was the steward trying to stop Van Persie throwing his shirt in the crowd? Wasn't happy at all.

    Hoof ball

What about bad football? I think we sometimes try to play the ball around but the passing's sloppy and the movement's non-existent so we revert to hoofing it instead. I think the point stands in this case that there's not enough effective work done on the training ground to give us an incisive passing game. Or if there is sufficient focus on this it's not working. It's all generally ineffective barring the odd lucky bounce or piece of clinical finishing.

Massively unfair to throw fruitloop heza at Cajun mind.

Maybe HBA should start saying that sort of thing, might get in the team now and again. Point is that you can't read too much into the comments of players desperate to impress their manager and get in the side. There are also whispers that Pardew spends a disproportionate amount of time on the defence and preparing for the threat of the opposition, therefore neglecting the attack, so who knows what's happening?
  7. Very, very worrying if he's having to check every 5 seconds.

Didn't know what else to say Jesus, neesy.
  9. Absolutely no chance imo.

Disjointed is the word but we're talking semantics in that case, I think the general point is that it's not good. Mixture of long balls, sloppy passes, lack of movement.

i don't think people watch enough, thats why they think we play hoof ball all the time, play a high line all the time, someone says it and many go along with....emperors new clothes. I personally don't think we play hoofball all the time as such but that we play it far too much. Are a few players in there that clearly hit and hope almost every time they get the ball, e.g. Simpson, Williamson, Ryan Taylor, and Krul's always just blasting the ball up without a doubt.

Why do you think people are lying about what they're seeing then, madras?

    Alan Pardew

How the fuck is it even possible to do that within the space of 12 minutes?

    Yohan Cabaye

He ran the show against Villa away and was unlucky not to get a couple of goals. Was his best game for us off the top of my head but haven't seen him as an attacking threat in that many other games tbh. Still think he's done well, to clarify. And agree that our game's not really geared towards him at present.
  15. Clearly. My point still stands. Perhaps it's the company I keep.
  16. I've never met a fan with similar views to the likes of Cronky like, makes me wonder.

Think he'll come into his own next season if all goes well, have always had a feeling this would be the case with him. His anonymous performances haven't been exclusive to the last few months at all, he's been inconsistent all season.
  18. Have put a £5 free bet on 2-2 @ 14/1, have fancied a draw for a good few weeks now.
  19. It's not even just about the fact he's not starting, it's even worse than that as he's not even getting off the bench for 3 games in a row and is then expected to come in when we're struggling and save our bacon. I'd rather he was starting every week but failing that you'd at least expect him to be getting 20+ minutes each game to prevent this ridiculous situation where he's got it all to prove every time he's on the pitch. It's just been comically mismanaged and I hope we don't regret it.
  20. Wayne Quinn could have done a job.
  21. I wouldn't say Wullie was depressing fwiw, I think a lot of of his posts are are slightly tounge in cheek, or an exaggeration of his views though, especialy in the heat of the moment (and I agree with a lot of what he says). I'd say you were the same Heza, just from the complete opposite end of the spectrum (i.e from a more positive viewpoint of things). Wullie's the best football poster on here imo, might be because I share a lot of his views mind.
