That is nonsense. Carroll was easily our most important players while he was here last season. Enrique was also consistently in the team and consistently performed at an exceptional level. It is revisionist to say otherwise. Spot on. Our first choice 11 while both were here was probably Harper/Simpson-Colo-Taylor-Enrique/Barton-Nolan-Tiote-Jonas/Carroll-Ameobi, they were easily 2 of our best players.

We should have been level with 5 minutes to play. We also should've been playing against 10 men. Agree about the 10 men thing of course but feel they had far better chances than us. Expected the net to bulge on numerous occasions, we were wide open. Did think 3-0 was harsh at the end mind.

We certainly had our chances but the amount of times they were clean through on goal was unreal, could have been out of sight by half time.
