I f*****g hope it’s out of his control!
-
Why? Trafford would be the new Shay Given for us. Our number1 keeper for the next 10 years
-
Eddies current style of football is boring
-
They didn’t run fast enough
-
That team is fucking rank!
-
The eye test has always told me that Ndiaye is a vey good, dangerous player. He would be great for us.
-
Do we think Eddie employs this formation/tactics in the Prem against LiVARpool?
-
It’s the eye test. I’m not sure anyone can hand on heart say they are enjoying the football, results aside. Petty of me, maybe. I did enjoy Villa’s first half performance. The one touch build up play, threatening through the middle as well as the flanks. I just wish I was seeing more of that from my team.

I don’t like the football we are playing is the simplest way to put it. Of course there are factors and nuances to that but it’s what it boils down to. Ultimately the manager dictates the brand and I’ve grown bored of Eddies brand. We don’t have Isak any more so why play a formation/tactics that suited that paradigm? In my opinion Eddie has an opportunity to evolve, grow , change…. Nothing.

Ok so how does Eddie change tactics to accommodate Woltemade?
-
Quite the opposite, I voted Eddie in, in the poll above but I’ve changed my mind.
-
Eddie is completely and utterly wedded to the 433 and we all know it. I would love him to take us to the next level but we are stagnating because we are predictable. A total advantage to opposing managers. 1/2 the work is done for them
-
Eddie has said he won’t change tactics or formation himself, just a couple of weeks ago. So what’s not to believe?
-
In a changing formation to suite the opposition and way that the game is unfolding, yes.
-
I’ll ask again. How will Eddie accommodate Woltamade. A complete “unicorn” of a striker. Does he change system, patterns of play… nope.
-
Eddie has hit his ceiling for me. If he thinks his 433 is taking us to any new level I’m afraid he’s mistaken. Emery showed today what a real manager can do. Score a goal and drop into a low block because he knows it’s our Kryptonite. Simple. Game was over before it started
-
Someone in the last couple of pages hit the nail on the head. We have a "Unicorn" of a striker and what has Eddie changed to accommodate for the loss of the rat and give Nick everything he needs to thrive... Nothing! The formation, the patterns of attack, the personnel, essentially the same as before, when we had a completely different striker up top. It's lazy as fuck! What an opportunity to grow, evolve, and get better, being wasted.
-
Nick wants the ball into his feet in the centre early outside the 18-yard box. He shows for it all the time. We continually ignore him and spread the ball out wide. We aren't playing to any of his strengths
-
Just like Isak or any other player, including Bruno. If they go, they go for the best, top, emphatic price we can command for them. We are not Real Madrid/Barcelona and never will be. It will always hurt when someone goes to some degree or another but the team must always evolve. Then we must trust that the people in charge make the right decisions about replacements and development.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Interesting take after we've just received a PL record fee for the rat.

Talksport segment on SCR is interesting, Stephan Borson thinks we're going to struggle: https://youtu.be/2xQ3hcswWI0?si=p7ffQ6qV1dKimYW7

I was wrong again… sorry Eddie

433 Fuck my life, when has this formation or that midfield three ever worked against City? 0-3
