heath death of the universe
-
the 12 involved didn't turn up for that meeting
-
come on you cowards we're waiting
-
he'd have had to do what the majority want and the majority of premier league clubs are doubt rather pissed at the moment
-
according to reports the 12 clubs involved in this didn't respond to the ECA calling an emergency meeting which is even worse because Agnelli (juve chairman) is the chairman of the ECA
-
Macron in France did too, it seems literally everybody except them think this is a horrible idea
-
not sure what the point of asking OGS anything obviously he's not going to be able to say anything if he even knew anything in the first place
-
simple solution, if they want to fuck off to some super league in 2 or 3 years time kick them out now and leave them with no games or income for a few years
-
Bayern/Dortmund with the 50+1 rule might not even be able to do it, there'd be a fan revolt if they tried it
-
yeah honestly this season only city have been good and even then they started terribly and only got good around december time iirc. Like spurs have been bloody awful for months now and yet can still get into the champions league somehow
-
Oh let them fuck off and be also rans see how they like finishing mid-table or horror of horrors bottom
-
update in this, countries have been updating uefa on what crowds will be allowed in for this and Dublin will probably lose the games here because we can't make any promises on a minimum 25% capactiy UEFA want Rob Harris on Twitter: "Breaking from Football Association of Ireland says they have "today notified UEFA that owing to the COVID-19 pandemic it is not in a position at this point to provide assurances on minimum spectator levels at the UEFA EURO 2020 matches due to be held in Dublin in June"" / Twitter The fact this insanity is still going ahead across the continent when it is perfectly possible to host it in one country (UK being the obvious choice atm) is utter stupidity imho

tbh I'm not entirely against the idea of dragging Robbie out of retirement to play just for Ireland, can't do any worse than the current lot
-
Trap and MON were right we're nowhere near good enough to be trying to play football
-
International Women's Day. Aye, gathered that when I went and found an NBC stream Gone with BT on mute eh she's no worse than Robbie Savage or Steve McManaman
-
could go either way, you can see why the referee called it so quick from his angle anyway

The decision to push Henderson and Fabinho into centre back when they suffered injuries to Van Dijk, Matip and Gomez completely messed up the team dynamic. It's thrown off the intensity of their press and their ability to win the ball high up the pitch and have teams on the back foot very quickly and create much easier chances. The full backs were a big part of their attacking threat, and maybe now they're having to concentrate more on defence, with the weakness at centre back that's arisen. Some of the energy has gone out, and the build-up tends to be slower. They had such a brilliant season last time, with everyone at the top of their game. That sort of drive is hard to sustain. This happened with Klopp at Dortmund didn't it? One great season followed by a really bad one. Maybe some of his drive has gone, at least temporarily. the compressed season has to be a factor, their schedule has been rather insane and for a team that was built around a very high energy game with basically no preseason thats my best guess as to why they've fallen apart. The defence basically not being there is a factor but even their attack looks toothless now its beyond defensive issues.

and I'll maintain he was ridiculously unlucky after he got the job injuries under him were kinda insane iirc, hell just losing the star striker while he's away for england is just ridiculous bad luck.
-
lets be honest would any top level manager go near barcelona at the moment? Its a complete mess and no Messi to try and cover the cracks next season most likely
-
lets be fair he was snookered before he even started, the club has been so badly run on every level for years and the damage is done, the amount of money pissed away on shite transfers and massive wages is unbelievable
-
well we have been here before with Barca losing heavily in the first leg to psg..........
-
oh that was brilliant, 4-1 PSG
-
the fuck was Navas playing at there your a goalkeeper not a footballer
