  1. Oliver Kay ‏@OliverKayTimes 34s Fifa statement confirms Suarez can still appeal to Court of Arbitration for Sport "subject to certain conditions" http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/news/y=2014/m=7/news=appeals-of-suarez-and-the-uruguayan-fa-rejected-sanctions-upheld-2403024.html …
  2. Oliver Kay ‏@OliverKayTimes now Confirmed: Luis Suarez's appeal is rejected by Fifa. His four-month ban for biting (nine-match international ban) is upheld #URU #LFC (#FCB)
  3. Pete O'Rourke ‏@SkySportsPeteO 18m Former Fulham man Kieran Richardson set for a medical at Aston Villa in the next 24 hours. #AVFC #FFC god Villa's tranfers this summer are just so awful
  4. I wonder if any of that starting line up will ever play for Brazil again
  5. I feel like its an insult to clowns calling Luiz one. God awful "defender"
  6. he any good? can't say i've heard of him off the top of my head of him. Wasn't terribly impressed by Origi in the world cup but iirc he was being sent back on loan anyway wasn't he?
  7. Bullshit. tend to agree.
  8. I think the fact he was brought on kinda threw costa rica off a bit, they have been practicing penalties and their entire strategy last night seemed to centre around getting to the shootout and they weren't as good as the previous round
  9. tbh no sides looked particularly outstanding, Germany have maybe been the most consistent but they are hardly convincing, big weaknesses in all of them
  10. how does that prove he's a competent defender?
  11. Catalan media saying done deal on Suarez for £63m apparently
  12. The Germans are bloody tedious, no flair or excitement
  13. Even if they find 6 players as good (no easy task) integrating them all along with a new manager is bloody hard.
  14. and no doubt once the world cup publicity is over and this transfer is done FIFA will quietly cut down the ban probably in half
  15. Més que un club- yeah fucking right
  16. random, barely got a look in last season thanks to colemans great form and its not like he's all that good anyway
  17. Great news if true. Can't help think it's a precursor to another bugger leaving tho. I'm of the opinion there's always going to be enough negatives to have depressing/enraging everyone to bother worrying overly much about what ifs and just enjoy what few positives we get as they are. What will be will be.
  18. newcastle are in grave danger of signing a player
  19. Keith Downie ‏@SkySports_Keith 1m Newcastle hope to conclude the signing of Ajax captain and midfielder Siem de Jong by tomorrow morning.
  20. QUICKLY?!?!?!?!?! well this one came kinda out of nowhere, Cisse was a bolt from the blue as well they are perfectly capable of it on occasion its just ludicrous on others how it can drag on and on and on and on (etc)
  21. assuming this goes according to reports and he signs in next day or two it is impressive and mindbogglingly frustrating how quickly the hierarchy can move on transfers at times.
