    Loïc Remy

This isn't true at all. For the vast majority of players, give them an environment they enjoy and and they'll reciprocate. We've had loads of players over they years who were far better than Remy will ever be and they still treated the club with respect and talk about us fondly. If you sign professional players, they'll act it. If you sign self important cunts, they'll act like one. true but ones that genuinely love the club they're playing for in the same way as a fan does and wouldn't leap at the first opportunity of champions league level money are rare at best.

if its the heart thing its not exactly a secret its been well known for years
  3. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach 1m Told Calum Chambers' move to #AFC should be announced tomorrow. Dejan Lovren's departure to #LFC to be confirmed then as well.

reasons like that I'm not overly fond of loans, in cases like this and Remy for us you lose one of your more effective players and either have to pay a shit load to get them back and stand still or try and replace them with no cash gained from their loss, short term thinking at it worst
  6. Lallana was £25m? yeah he's good but that seems a bit high imo anyway. Either way its strange Shaw I got but Lovren and Schneiderlin?
  7. His reputation isn't exactly great (tendency to fall out with managers etc) but it is very strange nobody would think they are the manager to get the best out of him, maybe its wage demands, maybe its the fee the club is asking (though not if you believe reports of trying to sell him), maybe its the clubs going in for him hba doesn't want to go to (I find it highly unlikely if a club in europe in one of the better european leagues tried for him that he'd still be here). Whatever the reason its bad for all parties and in the best interests of all that he move on, he's not going to be given another chance here (and imho that won't change regardless of if pardew is sacked or not) and surely he doesn't want to waste a year when he could be playing elsewhere.
  8. Those damned fans and owners who expect entertainment and goals. Damn them to hell. right way and wrong ways to do things what they are doing is entirely wrong. Either back him and let him get on with the job or sack him and find someone else who will better fit your stated goals. But firing him would be expensive so why not try and force him to resign by completely undermining and contradicting him?
  9. Jacob Steinberg @JacobSteinberg · 1m PR war at West Ham picking up pace. Allardyce blames defeat on new 'attacking' style - "it seems to be what's demanded in the game now."
  10. played vs Liverpool too iirc and got sent off suspended for match vs sunderland (dummet at cb out of desperation i believe) then chelsea and spurs

  12. well thats me convinced! good fucking grief some people are really sad to just make shit up like that
  13. sounds like a full one, actually forgot he existed tbh
  14. didn't he only sign 6 months ago? What a waste of time he was there
  15. Sigurdson to Swansea, Ben Davies and Vorm to Spurs deal done. Rare to see swap deals
  16. the per year seems rather more likely
  17. given the clubs recent media tendencies expect an exclusive in the sun tomorrow announcing his arrival which will obviously be official at 11pm to screw over the rest of the papers (I've found all this petty stuff rather amusing), its hard to trust anything the media guys get from "inside sources" because its so blatantly clear how little regard they're held in by the club hierarchy
  18. Kristan Heneage ‏@KHeneage 8m One for @Adz77 to comment on perhaps. This report cites a fee of $14m, and a four year deal for Isla to #NUFC : http://www.ferplei.com/2014/07/mauricio-isla-esta-a-un-paso-de-ser-nuevo-refuerzo-de-newcastle-united/ …

so they bid big money for a player and didn't even know if he wanted to come?
  20. so thats what £75m in for Southampton this summer with maybe schneiderlin on his way too. Thats a big hole in the first team to replace with everyone knowing they have shitloads to spend and the subsequent increases in prices when they come looking for players.

if true he certainly doesn't seem enthusiastic about the move. Liverpool must be desperately trying to shove him out the door mind they'll somehow make a profit on him if it goes through
  22. I do wonder how much is it he really not wanting to leave, how much is it he's not wanted by many clubs of a decent standard. You'd think some prem club would take a gamble on him but I can't recall any reported interest from any of them (open to correction here) let alone a serious bid. My guess is someone will take him on loan near the end of the window.
  23. Nope he's just not good enough to be a starter for a team that wants to win the league. where this logic fails is Torres still plays for them, I know which striker out of those 2 I'd pick
