  1. or theres been less reporting of it because its liverpool
  2. £17m is pure guesswork from Nicko, a proven clueless fuckwit. Wouldn't take much notice of that. probably trying to make liverpool seem less incompetent
  3. hmmm Lee Ryder ‏@lee_ryder #nufc won't go anywhere near £35million in the long run after loan if it happens- would be an offer of much less, Carroll knew 3 days ago
  4. Ashley playing the long transfer game and looking for ways to save cash the magnificent cheap bastard
  5. Probably worth it to erase Owen from the history books. nice symmetry record transfer deal in and out
  6. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/newcastle-look-to-bring-andy-carroll-1143980 £17m permanent says the mirror..................................
  7. put it another way, thats a £25m loss for liverpool, I'd call that bad business
  8. We've moved on as a team since then and have also bought two better centre forwards than him. None of that will have changed. We would essentially have upgraded Best with Carroll. Getting Andy back in gives us plenty of options to play different formations or even change our style of play if the situation in a match requires it. I'm all for it. I don't get where this idea that we're going to keep Carroll, Ba and Cisse content for a season is coming from. We're not at a level of being able to tell players like that 'you're in a rotation, like it or lump it'. And I'd rather keep the current two and risk disharmony for Carroll. I see where you are coming from but we are in 4 competitions, and if want to stay in 4 for years to come we simply cant do that with just 2 top strikers (and other positions), we need 4 just like the Man City and Man Utd's of the world. Rotation is part of football now, i cant see a reason why we cant do the same in the next few years (if we are in europe of course). Whether Carroll is one of the extra players we need is another matter. this, plus Pardews a pragmatic manager not committed to any one style of football, when it suits him we'll play good stuff however there are times when you need to be a bit more direct and Carrolls one of the best around for that sort of thing plus he's a menace at set pieces
  9. more likely to be leaping on an opportunity as its presented itself
  10. Never know. Need Carroll himself to make his position clear on this matter. If he really fancies coming back we might have put Liverpool in a very odd position. I'd imagine the way Rogers has treated him so far (possibly without meeting him once) and the possibility of "coming home" means he'd really fancy coming back
  11. Piss off man. come on think about it, loan deal back with agreed low price performs great we buy him back for less than half we paid for him, the utter trolling of liverpool can't be resisted Or we bring back somebody that could quite easily upset squad harmony, who is also not as good as what we've got and I highly doubt he would be happy to be third choice either. As that is what he would be. Can't believe the amount of people that are dripping like a fridge at the prospect of this twat coming back. I just can't resist the hilarity of it all. And he would play with Europe and all. Besides Ashleys always had a nose for an opportunity

  13. ....you know what why not, the trolling of liverpool just can't be resisted
  14. yes but Liverpool making it so clear (without Rogers even having one training session with him no less) that he's for sale will hit an already catastrophically hit transfer value even further it makes no sense in the slightest what they've done
  15. oh dear http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jul/14/ashley-cole-choc-ice-rio-ferdinand
  16. how did I forget that insanity?!
  17. most recent off the top of my head was Milner deal to City with Ireland and a truck of cash going the other way
  18. Lee Ryder ‏@lee_ryder #NUFC now preparing for subs. Shola to come on
