  1. I'd almost have sympathy for them getting that many points and to (probably) miss out thanks to that chance they had vs city that didn't quite go over the line but on the other hand fuck em
  2. 0-0 at half time in the womens cup final, City well on top but not creating much
  3. Be interesting to see if it acts as a springboard for him. really should thats a hell of an improvement in what seemed a no hope job
  4. they're going out of business aren't they?
  5. Van Dijk PFA player of the year
  6. this is the most baffling part, of all players you do not give space and time to Shelvey when he's not great when under pressure
  7. no wonder Salah went down like he did last week since the refs are too cowardly to give a pen unless it looks like a players been shot
  8. what the hell is Hughton thinking approaching this game like he has so far? This is a prime opportunity to get three points maybe their last chance to get any points and they play not to lose?
  9. lovely finish but great work from Dummet and Rondon to set it up
  10. personally I'll stick to shots on target rather than xg
  11. I would sell him and pay Herrera what he wants and then sign a CB and RB with the funds. I would be expecting £120-150m for Pogba off Real Madrid. I can't see how his value would've gone UP in the time he's been with your lot tbh. If anything, there should be some acknowledgement that you overpaid. well world cup winner would add some value and the fact even real madrid would have a hard time bullying man utd into selling below what they want
  12. the ultra's want him gone so maybe that's a factor in that deal. Not that I'd expect it to happen anyway because swaps are so rare anyway
  13. wonder if the man utd board might try and block that regardless of what OGS or whoever thinks just because of his marketability etc pretty sure that was the primary reason they signed him in the first place anyway since I doubt Mourinhio really wanted him
  14. Mahrez last summer cost them £60m
  15. true but wolves for liverpool on the last day is hardly a walk over either
  16. Pogbas an example of the pfas screwed up voting time (march time I think?) when he was in great form and fresh in the mind. Matt Doherty is a bit unlucky to miss out as well but hard to argue with TAA
  17. not to mention that goal line clearance when they played each other
  18. plus if your a man utd fan you can just write off any city title mentally as only thanks to oil money etc
  19. fuck anyone winning it tbh hate everybody in the top 6 at present (well not spurs thats just a mild dislike)
  20. thats real he actually did that?!! how long until he wants them to play in the 98/99 shirt?
  21. most succesful promoted teams don't do what fulham did. Sure add to the squad but for the first season at least most sides keep the core of the promotion team and replace that team over time. Tbh I don't think its ever a great idea to make wholesale changes to a team in one window
  22. I'll moderately disagree, they may be fucking things up right now but they are still a money making machine and can become competitive again with some smart decisions. Liverpools problem is iirc they didn't market the club as well as man utd late 80's early 90's so were always playing catch up to man utds ridiculous commercial income. Liverpool’s bigger problem, along with Arsenal, is that Chelsea and then Man City suddenly magically had hundreds of billions to play with. It’s no coincidence that Arsenal’s titles dried up as soon as Abramovich came along. oh no doubt just how they ended up being so far behind man utd despite being the dominant force in 70's and 80's while man utd were nowhere
