They need a goalscorer more than anything. They could gamble on a £20m plus striker from the continent who may or may not make it over here, or get £27m and a striker who will more than likely get around 12-15 goals, and then spend the cash on a Modric replacement. problem with selling Modric is the message it sends out to rest of squad (in particular Bale and VDV) that maybe Spurs ain't serious about building a team to win trophies and that everyone has a price.

Money. Unlike in FM, Football League clubs have to pay a lot of extra money to take along 2 extra subs they'll never consider using. What? Do you mean things like travel expenses? Surely these massive football clubs could cover the cost of transporting two extra people throughout the relatively small area that comprises England and Swansea. Championship-League 2. Some teams in those leagues can barely afford a sausage & bean melt, nevermind extra players. they were still under no obligation to name 7 subs, just they had the option of naming up to 7 if they wanted to.
