  1. meh ed's blog is alright, most blogs are sensationalist anyway
  2. last year of contract on big wages and not exactly young, 4m sounds about right tbh
  3. I imagine also need to make room on the wage bill with the likes of Keane picking up big wages for doing nothing while Modric is rather underpaid for his contribution.
  4. Bit of a gamble but at 2m or so a gamble worth taking if he's available, he is a player who has shown he can do it in the premier league (and to a high level too) the only issue is the injury he had for the 2nd half of last season and being honest, wouldn't be the first gamble on that front we've taken this summer Sure he's a bit odd (maybe a slight understatement there) but its not really one that hinders his performance as he was odd at man city at his best too. Plus in the past he has played on the right (most of his limited time for Ireland was on the right and he was brilliant there 4 goals in 6 games) so another good squad player to fill in elsewhere when needed
  5. if you believe the mirror Villa want Barry back for 14m
  6. er do they not grasp the idea of a buyout clause? because I sure ain't heard of a clause that allows the player to speak to a club but not actually accept the bid

    Chris Hughton

Fulham under Jol might not be bad to watch, certainly the most likeable out of that list (other than hughton factor )
  8. Copa America starting soon, its something
  9. Are you meaning Keith Andrews there or this other Keith? Well, Keith Andrews is still there. Due to lack of appearances, I'd thought he'd moved on. http://img835.imageshack.us/img835/5640/unledjhb.png http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Andrews_(footballer)#Blackburn_Rovers tbf andrews is not terrible when playing for ireland only time I see him play-does not mean I want him here or endorse him coming here only he's not utterly god awful
  10. old and on high wages he ain't coming here
  11. they're not going to miss him, awful awful keeper

    Fraser Forster

concur with the up the bid and I think he's off, never going to be able to keep Krul and Forster

    Sunderland...

Westwoods a good goalkeeper, looked good whenever I've seen him for Ireland or Coventry. Good signing on a free transfer especially if they manage to find a buyer for Gordon who on his day is very good but is rather accident prone
  17. Liverpool to sell Meireles to pay for Adam Downing and Dann apparently
  18. Fat Sam said today no ones bid for Green, Cole or Parker, tiny bit surprised Harry hasn't tried to carry off Parker

    Sunderland...

they've confirmed Westwood and Larsson signing on 1st of July, 2 solid but meh signings
  20. just looked at them all, forgot how good some of them were
  21. This won't end well if we get him. Not the striker we should be going for,we need someone who can come in and do it now, not in 2 or 3 seasons time. It's an ambitious move but the sort of move clubs like Spurs would do and can bring him on slowly,he won't get that chance with us. He may well go on and do the business but for me it's a massive, massive gamble. Would be suprised if you got him anyway tbh, your bid will make other clubs come in for him. aye supposedly Liverpool are interested (then again young english and overpriced of coarse they're interested) and I imagine this will just get them to move for him.
  22. sadly it is indeed bollocks TonyBarretTimes Tony Barrett Andy Carroll got back from Ibiza yesterday - as I did - and trained at Melwood today - as I didn't. The arrest rumour is b******s.
  23. LiterallyJamie Not Jamie Redknapp Breaking; Andy Carroll arrested. Sources reveal he was part of a syndicate who swindled an elderly Scottish man out of £35m.
