sunderland signing players behind the managers back
  3. Is the game desperate for inane repetitive stepovers, inneffective attacking play and a genuine inability to apply himself in any way to a football match, like? isn't that what ronaldhinios for?
  4. ac are struggling to stay onside as it is
  5. ah the check for blood when you havent been touched trick

has he just removed parts of the game from memory because i do seem to recall carroll charing through their defence on his own in the first half and it took a last ditch tackle from bardsley to save him being one on one with the keeper
  8. on set plays arent they supposed to defend those? or did bruce skip that bit. no 2 is mackem delusion and 3 the rules say a minimum of 2 mins added on not exactly 2 added on but again mackem delusion. and the bramble red was right and bruce agrees or they'd have appealed it, they havent
  9. the same guy who was turfed out of spurs for wasting money? the same guy who authorised 15m for bentley?
  10. also why would said legal person be told in detail by ma this sort of thing
  11. Arsenal: Fabianski, Eboue, Squillaci, Djourou, Clichy, Eastmond, Wilshere, Walcott, Rosicky, Nasri, Bendtner. Subs: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vela, Chamakh, Emmanuel-Thomas, Lansbury. saving some of his big players for us, that sucks

sometimes players can improve even at late age with good coaching and management, look at zamora last season
  13. to address each of said points no 1- why wait? if ashley wanted rid of hughton he'd have done it by now no 2- why is that considered a bad thing if they're performing on the field which is what ma wants so he doesn't lose a shit load more cash through another relegation no 3- ash has shown he wouldn't be afraid to move on players without managers permission and if he wants rid of the higher earners, let their contract run down or renegotiate on lower terms no 4- if that was true then he'd have binned him already rather than risk someone else getting sacked meantime
  14. plus demolition derby mugs and scarfs, the print of nolans hat trick i get as hat tricks in the derby are so rare
  15. my theory/delusional hope is that should we stay up and thus another year of prem tv cash I think ma would lossen the purse strings a bit as the club may be able to afford it without his own investment

    Sunderland...

leave them to their delusions, its all they have left after sunday when their "best team ever" and manager were totally torn apart and the realisation that 1 year alone in the prem from the ne teams and they're still not better than us

    Sunderland...

it really is scary how utterly reliant on bent they are and how none of their midfielders look remotely like scoring, one mistimed tackle from one of the stoke lads and their are 100% down

what I don't get is the whole seasoned pro thing, yes there is prem experience in plentiful supply in nolan barton and shola but the rest not so much, carroll destroyed their defence but its only his 2nd season of proper first team football and his first in the prem. i can understand how they reached for the longball crap just taking one look at carroll and shola jump to conclusions even if it is lazy and delusional, we don't play the prettiest football around but we don't hoof mindlessly, theres a difference between how we play our passes and sam allerdyce kick it high and long style. Besides who in their midfield can actually pass? malbranque maybe but cattermole and henderson?
  19. nope which even last jan was unthinkable, but such has been the form of colo and willo that hes really going to have to impress to get in the side

Superb assist for Nolan as well, the movement from the corner was great and the header was composed. tbh judging by the way he wheeled off in celeb I think he was trying to score (and momentarily thought he did score) but the movement was top class alright Oh yeah, I'm not suggesting he specifically headed it directly onto Nolan's head... but he did really well to direct it back across the goal. Also, I never get tired of watching his second goal! yup top class finish which he's always had (remember his goal vs forest i think it was last season where he just turned at the edge of the box and smashed it into the net), problem usually has been the rest of his game and his tendency to get caught offside and amble around aimlessly. But from what i've seen this season hes been working at those parts of his game it seems, he lead the line well vs city and vs west ham he chased everything which was pleasing to see as its not normally something he'd do but his workrate last few games has been very impressive
  21. EU law. it seems implemented differently in each country though
