Dear me, that's a dreadful pen.

Whatever happened to the Ashworth links?

I know it's hardly news to us, but mental our players are having to use public gyms/pools.
-
Had on, they paid an equivalent amount to host the Spanish Community Shield to what they did to buy us?
-
Aye - said it before but tomorrow and Leeds are absolutely huge not just in terms of where we sit at the end of the season, but in who we might be able to attract at the end of the window.
-
For everyone I think, my City supporting mate had to fill it out when he was up for their match. No idea how it's checked mind you.

"The 26-year-old Netherlands international winger" - capped twice, over 6 years ago.
-
"Wood, who joined the Club in 2017, departs Turf Moor after scoring a total of 53 goals in 165 appearances, including three goals in 21 games this season." Salty.
-
Separately, on their own, both Wood & this kid are slightly underwhelming for differing reasons. Together though, they compliment each other well.
-
At peace with this. Future cult hero when his goals keep us up.

Fucking hell, Carroll's scored two absolute worldies for Reading and they've both been chalked off.
-
£25m?! Mental. Basically the opposite of Ashley, throwing a mountain of money at a short term fix.
-
Fucking £20m?! Pleased with it, 2022’s Daryl Murphy, but fuck me we’ve been had there. Guess it was inevitable this window.
-
If your opening offer is being accepted straight off the bat, no questions asked, you're probably doing something wrong tbf.
-
I could see us trying again towards the end of the window, especially if we can get a couple decent results from next 2 games. They're absolutely huge games not just in the grand scheme of the season, but in allowing us to convince players to sign this window.
-
These past few days have been such a comedown after the positivity post-Man U & the Trippier signing. Hope we get some positive news in the next 48hrs from somewhere.
-
FWIW Liverpool fans seem to really rue letting him go. He was a vital part of their pressing system, and they've seemingly missed his energy this year in the middle at times. As others have said, he was a completely different player under Klopp to the CAM/#10 he was here.
-
None of those are guaranteed to hit the ground running in the league, which is what we desperately need. Gini was an ever present in a team that won CL/PL & had almost 200 points across those 2 seasons. It's a no brainer.
-
People turning their nose up at him. He'd immediately be a step up on anyone else we have in midfield. Of the midfielders who are available/been linked to us, he's probably the best we could hope for.
-
Can’t wrap me head round this. We’ve spent years pissing about, had a transfer record for about 13 year while everyone else seemingly broke theirs annually, and now we’re supposedly looking to spend £70-80m on a few defenders mid Jan.
-
Aye, wouldn't be so quick to look down on their fans for this. They're on the brink, don't blame them for accepting literally anyone at this stage.
