Big bucks for Villarreal. I think Man United have got first dibs on him should they sell IIRC. Yes, they have a first option.

My aunt is about to marry a Milan fan. He's already told me to come over and go to San Siro Will plan some Italian holiday next season.

Rossi signed a new contract with Villarreal just two weeks ago, too.

Our football culture is rather entrenched... I guess something has to do with the fact that we are a rather short and small bunch (shortest nation in the EU actually) and thus have a hard time basing football teams around athleticism. Bilbao is the only club to have succeeded this way.

Rate Alexis Sánchez better than Valencia, to be frank.

Xisco joins Deportivo on loan until the end of the season

Depor have a transfer embargo on them, so the move can't be completed. They say they will solve it tomorrow though. -
Get in, Giuseppe. Make this a perfect day. What a player.

No. Their manager issued a hands off warning this afternoon, though. Handoff is tough s*** with a release clause though Not really, explained it a few pages ago but when a Spanish club is said to be triggering a release clause it's usually not the case but the selling club agreeing to a bid equal to the clause. The taxes attached to the release fee are stratospheric and could add up to 50% to the cost (which would go to the state, hence the selling club not really having an interest in upholding the clause if the sale is inevitable). There's a gentlemen's agreement between Spanish clubs to always accept bids equal to the amount of the release fee, but that doesn't apply to foreign clubs.

For whom? From who? There's no "Athletico" in Spain. Either Athletic or Atlético.
-
Remember his debut, hattrick against Real Sociedad. Probably best Barça debut I have ever seen. As for his connection with Laudrup, that goal against Osasuna

Magnificent player, probably the most technically gifted I have seen wearing our shirt. Also a lazy arse that could have been one of the true greats if he had bothered.

It ain't over till it is over. But this is is a great result for us.

3 subs at once, probably learnt that from Robson.
-
Get the fuck in. Hold in there you boys.
-
Mou is good at using impact subs, there's a reason why Real Madrid score truckloads of late goals.
-
Didn't realise Khedira was playing. You're not the only one. Bit of a disappointment so far, much more subdued as a player than he was in the WC.

<60 goals to take the record right? he should f***ing walk home...what a legend he's gonna be EDIT, that's for all comps, how many for league top scorer? No, no... that's league goals. Across all comps it's the same players with 235/196/164 goals. But yeah, I'll love it when he takes the record, 50 years it has stood! the best part is you just know, know messi will stay at barca 'cause it's the right thing to do - if he ever leaves for a man city or a chelsea super-bid i think i might just give up (on life) how many behind in the league is he then? He's on 109 league goals right now.
-
Only available number in their squad.
-
Yes, actually a good idea with his physicality. And maybe put somebody who can pick a pass in midfield, Lass/Khedira dynamic duo not really working.
